“This was an exceptional meal. We visited as a party of 4 at lunchtime. 3 Meat eaters & 1 Vegetarian (me).
2 had perfectly cooked Fish & Chips, 1 had the Homemade Steak & Ale Pie. I had Goats cheese & Butternut Squash Pie.
As a group we try and dine together once a month or so, somewhere a little Special. This place is just that.
We have already decided to return before Christmas for an Evening meal.
Any Negatives?
The only criticism I heard was from one of our group saying 'he wished the portions were a bit larger', Well next time he will just have to order a 'Side', :)
In Summary, this is 'Fine Dining', 'done right'.
