Had dinner with friends and watched a great band 'Lee Aaron'. Food was ok, service great - bar staff very friendly. Band was too loud 100dB! But really good, everyone up and dancing.

Proper boozer this place. Loud music on weekends. Bugle in the toilets. Stella on tap for a fiver. Not like other poncey battle cruisers locally. Working mans pub.

Ok, so when 2 adults and a child of 4 dine and the children's menu includes a desert, it is not really acceptable for the child to have to wait 30 mins + for a chocolate browny, ice cream and marshmallows - a desert that could be thrown together by anybody. When we asked for the desert, having waited 20 minutes, on the first occasion, we were told ok. 10 minutes later, when we advised that we were going to have to go soon, it was apparently on its way and a further 5 minutes later, we were told that they were busy preparing food - to which I replied that leaving a child of 4 waiting that amount of time was not acceptable and we were thus going to have to leave minus the desert.....The desert then arrived. The food was pretty good, but not sure if we will return as the last time we went here, and having walked from our caravan, the kitchen was closed as there was no chef.

Had a great night here celebrating a friends 21st. Very welcoming staff and a great DJ playing soul music all night. Would definitely return!

A cracking little pub this. We moved to the area last year and have frequented this place a number of times since including popping in for a few daytime drinks, a couple of times on a Saturday night to watch some live bands and most recent a few weeks ago we took my 4 yr old and had lunch outside on the benches whilst he went too and from the play park! Ideal. The first band we saw back in Jan were called Continuum who were great, drew a busy crowd with lots of dancing. We’ve also seen Daft! Who were also quite good.I understand they’ve recently started doing food again which we tried a few weeks back on a Saturday lunchtime. We shared a pizza which was nice, although maybe a build your own option from available ingredients/toppings would be a nice addition. Also had chilli & chips which was tasty ?.

Staff are nice and helpful but the food was terrible. Waited 25 minutes for burnt ribs.

Spent a lovely afternoon at the Falkners. There was a large group of us with kids and dogs and they were so accommodating. The staff were friendly, welcoming and just lovely! We all had food and it was absolutely delicious! Amazing value for money as the portion sizes were big. My son has several allergies so it can be daunting eating at new places but their allergen info was spot on. Everyone in our party had a great time and we’ve booked back to go again. Highly recommend!!
