Lovely NYE meal. Good prices and the best Singapore noodles in the area.

We ordered a takeaway as a change from our usual go to chinese t/a Quoted delivery time 35-55 mins. Actual time 80 mins. Food badly packed, sauce all over containers. Food very disappointing. Peking duck pancakes inedible, chewy and dry. Sauce like water. Tony has promised a full refund and a 20% discount next time. Next time? Let's see. This place used to be good. What's happened to this restaurant?

Food was lovely, there were a fair few vegan and vegetarian options.

The menu is expensive si that pushes you to the all you can eat menu. This was quite pricey but if you had a ng appetite it would be good value. Starters were good. However main courses were a let down. I had 4 cashew nuts in my chicken and yellow bean sauce , the crispy shredded beef did not taste of anything except maybe dust definitely no beef flavour. Noodles were fine and not greasy the rice was fine too. However these are difficult to do wrong other than coat them in tons of oil.I’ve marked it down for atmosphere as we were the only ones in there (2 of us) it was early about 6pm on a Tuesday !! So a bit unfair.Decor was okay.Would we return, probably not.

I do sympathise with the hospitality industry and the peaks and troughs post Covid. Tonight must have been busy with the rugby semi-final but… after 60 minutes of scheduled delivery delay I had to contact All Eat and then the restaurant, with different answers on the status of the order. Ultimately offered a refund or re-delivery (with some extra spring rolls) that would arrive 2 hours after the original time, getting on 10pm. Food was very nice (and thanks for the Easter midnight spring roll snack) but won’t be in a rush to risk the chaos again. I wish the new ownership good learnings and good luck as I suspect you will need it.

The food was excellent!! Really fresh, hot and tasty. We had ribs, prawn toast, salt and pepper chips and chicken, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef and a half duck with egg fried rice. The portions were small but enough for 2 people which was great for us as their menu states they charge £5 for every unfinished dish. There are two things that they need to improve on which would make my rating a 5* which is service and atmosphere. Service: We were greeted nicely but nothing was explained. We ordered our appetizers and in our minds we were halfway through the order, as we hadn't ordered mains and the server said 'ok' and walked away. This is how they work here, you order starters first and your duck and then your mains separately. Which is understandable and a great way to reduce food waste.. but as this wasn't explained it was actually quite rude in the moment! I also think as it's all you can eat, they should have kept the prawn crackers coming and asked if we wanted any sides or sauces etc because it didn't really feel 'all you can eat'. They did ask if we wanted more at the end, but there also wasn't a check on if the food was to our standard whilst we were eating, which would have given us an opportunity to ask for sauces etc. Atmosphere: The new owners have decorated with fake flowers and neon light strips which are nice enough, but it felt really cold in the restaurant. There wasn't music playing so we could easily hear the people next to us. They should have music playing and I think they should have sat most people near by so it created a buzz. I'd also say that as it's £30+ per head, it's not a cheap meal and they should upgrade to cloth napkins rather than paper which makes the experience feel cheaper than it is. All in all, we will definitely come here again and I hope others will disregard the negative reviews and the management will up their game to make it 5*.

I first visited this restaurant more than twenty years ago - a good menu of tasty dishes, well prepared with quality ingredients. Over the years the experience became less pleasant until a point where we stopped using the venue altogether. New owners and a “change of name” and we thought we would try once again. The visit was awful. There were no redeeming features, the quality and quantity of the food, the service and atmosphere were terrible. If the new owners believe that a cheap looking laminated menu featuring such things as “chips” as a starter will bring back the crowds, I believe they will be very disappointed.

My husband and I booked a table for dinner. When we walked in we were ignored, then when the waitress eventually approached she quite rudely said 'Yeah?' Not a very polite or welcoming greeting. All the other staff were friendly, but this particular waitress was very miserable and seemed like she'd had enough. However the food was tasty, hot and arrived promptly. I think the price per head for all you can eat is reasonable. The restaurant was calm and comfortable.Good experience apart from our initial greeting.

We came here for lunch and although the food is nice it is fairly overpriced in our opinion. I just don’t like being overcharge for fairly basic stuff like Ho Fun etc ... how much ? for noodles ...rather than concentrating on enjoying ourselves we looked at things on the menu and wondered if they were really worth the money ...In the end we decided to just have a simple meal and go rather than measuring everything we bought and leaving unhappy .The portions here are fairly small but at least were tasty . It could easily be a place we would go to regularly however we won’t be doing this as we feel it’s poor value for money and hate leaving places hungry or paying thru the nose to leave with a happy tummy .It’s a shame as they serve Dim Sum during the day which I love from my time in China, I could easily take clients and family for treats to sample regularly but again the price it on the high-side so will stay away ?

Had really nice dim sum here with my family, tasted like home! Will 100% be back soon!

We had lots of appetisers to share and everything was very tasty and fresh. Then crispy duck followed by the mains. Only one slight disappointment and this was the crispy shredded chilli beef, which wasn't as good as last time.

I love this place. Recently had a change of management and it's back to top quality. The star of the show is the 'As much as you can eat buffet' which delivers excellent quality with the opportunity to try lots of different things. Best stuff for me - crab claws, smoked chicken, salt and chilli ribs and the Mongolia main courses. They also do daily Dim Sum for a bit of a treat.Dietary restrictions: We had two vegan friends and they could not believe the options they got. The vegan 'Duck' course was totally amazing
