Lovely family meal for Mother's Day. Food was fantastic. A special thanks to Darren Hyland the chefWheelchair accessibility: Small step at entrance but staff allowed me access through a different door. If you can't manage a small step ask the staff for assistance. They are more than willing to help.

A really recommended restaurant. Nice staff, rustic atmosphere, top price-performance ratio. Fair prices and really good portions. I have rarely eaten such a good steak. Definitely I'll come back.

A quiet Sunday evening for dinner. The roast was very good along with the steaks.

You won't get better service anywhere else around here.....the staff are actually extremely friendly, they make you feel like you are worth a million dollars......we came quite late for dinner without a booking and were served promptly and without any rush or pressure....we even got to order our dessert....we had the pie with mash and were not disappointed. Visited the pub 3 days in a row, on the first one the Guinness was only ok. On the next two days the black stuff was right on point. Would definitely come back for more.Ps. Fish platter almost defeated my big appetite but I managed to finish it in the end

Had a fantastic evening at the Ship Inn as tourists… We were so welcomed by the staff and locals. The quiz night was an absolutely fantastic atmosphere and we loved it so much we returned for a meal a few days later!Made us feel like locals after only 2 visits!

Dietary restrictions: Ask the server on the day very helpful

Ate there with a table of 4 upstairs this evening (23/01/24). Had to wait a very long time to order. The sea bass main course and vegetarian curry scored 4/10 from my daughters. Not recommended. Tasteless. My chicken burger was ordinary and the pie and chips nothing special. We would have ordered pudding as the girls were hungry, but the service was so slow no one even came to clear plates (same on other tables too) so we just got up and paid the bill at the till. They weren’t even that busy! Awful …not sure I’d eat there again soon which is a shame as our pre- Xmas meal there was superb.

We popped in late afternoon for drink saw the food and hoped they were still serving.. Fortunately we were in luck we were seated upstairs straight away.. what a great view !!The Sunday Roast pork and nut roast was perfect in every way, we will definitely go back again. I cant recommend this Establishment highly enough.

Lovely location but unfortunately the food is really poor, if you can actually get what's on the menu, they seem to have about half of it. The Thai green curry is merely a hot soup with rice in it. Revolting. There is not much gluten free on the menu either. Won't go there for food. Just a drink for the lovely
