Had a great meal here. Was a lovely atmosphere and the food was great. The staff were amazing with out little one and helped us to make changes to the kids meal to suit what we knew little would eat.

My wife and I enjoyed a meal here last Saturday night. My wife chose the Steak Surf & Turf which was OK, but nothing special. I had the Cowboy Burger, a double burger with American cheese, some chopped lettuce and crispy bacon on top of a toasted bun, served with McDonald-style fries and burger sauce in a separate dish This burger was exceptional, probably the best I have ever had in a pub in the UK! I'm not a chip lover, but I eat ever one of my fries, even though they could have been hotter and I had no salt on the table. The burger itself was superb, a really enjoyable experience. Well done with that one chef!

A quaint Hostlery, a place to imbibe a hearty cider with friends, Ghandi was not there on this fine day, the Colonel was sat on the bat watching the world go around, like the One Eyed Yellow Idol of a past poem. The White Hart is a breath of tradition in a town where the Pubs have been turned in to cold style Night Clubs, it has a rich history, where the hanging spot was in te 18th century. It is said that that the ghosts of the past still hauntthe walls of the hotel. There is the tale of the man, bald of head and fat of belly, a harmless slap in the night is worth the risk, for many stories he has to tell. Take your fizzy Orange he wil say, for his advice is Sage.

Stayed in the hotel last year and was disappointed with the room which had torn net curtains and awful mouldy windowsills but the breakfast was good so as l was in the area again decided to take a friend there for lunch. Both ordered hunters chicken from the lite bite menu, the chicken was overcooked tough and chewy, the salad consisted of some shrivelled up dry lettuce and one tiny tomato.ordered the ice cream for pudding which was advertised as three scoops of vanilla ice cream with sauce, however we got two scoops and no sauce. One of the worse meals l have had in a long time. Credit where it’s due though the girl behind the bar was very pleasant

From the moment I walked in, I was looked after. A lovely lady called Laura said she’d speak on the phone to guide my husband into the car park (we had a large van and didn’t know if it would fit) and we’d arrived separately.) Laura continued to be amazing during dinner and nothing was too much trouble. Food was good, service was brilliant. So impressed!

Ate here at lunch time and it was very good. Nicely cooked freshly battered cod & chips and good service. Very friendly, if a little pricey. We would return.

We ate at the White Hart because we had seen you had a good range of vegan options. The food was actually really nice, great taste, generous portions and a reasonably good choice. I'd love to see this extended and we will be back to try out the other dishes. The staff were also very pleasant, helpful and informative. The after dinner coffee was a little strong for my pallette but overall we were very pleased with our luncheon outing.

Lived in Andover for a while, & stayed at The White Hart before. Check-In no problem, room good. Breakfast was fine. But, not impressed with having to pay 35p for a wedge of lime, & 80p for soda, in a double Tanqueray!!!

The staff from start to finish were great. Food very good and good value for money. The bar man that we had was very helpful even though they were short staffed due to the pin culture.

Booked one night Bed and Breakfast on the way to see friends. Not disappointed,it delivered on all parts. The room was comfortable and super clean.Plenty of lovely white towels and toiletries in the bathroom.Beds super comfy.Bonus was a free standing fan which was marvellous because it was very muggy out. Decided to have dinner in the hotel, lovely steak and chips. The steak and ale pie was disappointing. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of cereals croissants, toast etc,and full English on offer.

I stayed here last night good service and food was good. Bed was comfy although the room looked very tatty and old including bathroom needs to be updated and a lick of paint. Not so happy with people banging about on top floor and I had the extractor fan right by my room so it stunk of food and fat
