Popped in Saturday lunch, Ordered Tuna Baguette and Cheese and Tuna toastie. 35-40 minute later eventually arrived. There was only one other couple in the Whole pub!!! Apparently the chef was prepping for tomorrow's service. Excuse me what about today!!! My cheese and onion toastie, appears to have missed the Cheese and was more onion. Grating of Cheese was found on the bottom of the Tuna Baguette. Just as well I'm not dairy intolerant. Obviously not changing food prep boards as required.I will be avoiding in future. Like supporting local eateries but this one is off the list

Had a pint on a Monday night and got some excellent roast potatoes on the house. Recommended!

Lovely pub, lovely grub. Sunday lunch was really nice and plentiful. Staff really warm and pleasant and welcoming.

Went for a pint to rest after hiking through the Hampshire countryside. Very quiet and cosy, with a nice warm fire.

Thursday night Burger was the best I’ve had in ages , loads of chips too. & a side of slaw .all in front of a roaring fire, just perfect . The deal was a bonus . Luckily we’re local so we can visit anytime we like

Fab walk around a very beautiful Kingsley Common followed by a splendid Sunday roast at the Cricketers Inn. Only choice was roast beef or lamb and everyone very happy with a meal very well served and delicious. Compliments to the chef! Bar staff also very pleasant and ambience really nice. Top marks to the bloke who kept feeding the jute box; he had a smashing selection!

Friendly service, great music on the night very enjoyable

Went for Sunday lunch, but found the food was very mediocre. I had roast beef, which amounted to two very small slices of meat. Plenty of veg though. The atmosphere and decor isn't great, but the location by the pond and Kingsley Common was brilliant.

It's hardly following the opening hours and you never know when it be closed. Seems really interesting place but both the days it was closed (Visited Thursday and Friday)

Excellent burgers last night. Chilli for me and chicken for my wife. I do not usually eat burgers but we both thought these were exceptional. Highly recommended every Thursday. Excellent beers and a good atmosphrre

Tried to dine at this pub twice, both Sundays. Each time turned away as too busy. Today was laughable, arrived at 12:01, the place was completely empty. Made worse by the barmaid who took great pleasure in telling us we wouldn’t be able to eat with a smile. Surely even she knew how ridiculous that sounded looking out onto an empty pub…?Looking at your reviews, enjoy while you can, not long and you will join the long list of pubs closing weekly.

We dropped in Saturday for lunch but we're too late, chef was off until 6. Didn't know know where to park, the pub car park only held three cars so parked on local land. Having said that the food that was still being eaten looked and smelled good and the pub was full of happy looking folk. Look forward to another try.
