I celebrated my 60th birthday here with 8 friends on Saturday lunch. It was the most perfect afternoon. The staff and service were fantastic, my guests agreed it was the best meal they had had in years. We had three courses, including the specials. The cocktails were sublime and have spoilt us forever. Everything I had asked for and hoped for was done and I had the most wonderful afternoon with my friends. Thank you to the manager and staff for helping me celebrate a special occasion.

We came here twice in the same weekend everything about this place was AMAZING. The pork belly was unbelievable. The Sunday roast is the best I've had whilst eating out. The service was great, it's got a lovely cosy interior. 5 stars all round!

Fantastic food, one of the best pub roasts I’ve ever had and seabass was exceptional. Staff lovely and attentive. Nice touch of giving all mothers flowers on Mother’s Day.
Wow! Visiting the area and had lunch at the Deers Hut. Cozy, welcoming, delicious food (pan fried sea bass is the best I've had - and i eat a lot of sea bass!), great service, dog-friendly, child-friendly; it's almost enough to make me want to move to the area!! Would highly recommend.

I called deers hut ahead of arrival around 14:00 and asked how long is the wait. I explained that I had to be done and dusted (referencing to food) by 15:00. The man on the phone checked with his colleagues that that’s possible.Having arrived around 14:15 we were seated by a very kind waiting staff. Having recognised that we called ahead of the arrival they done everything to get the food to us asap and it really happened super quick. Without too much of a rush we were finished with our lunch before 14:45.I’ve also had food in Deers hut before and I have to say these guys are winners. Most likely best place in Liphook. Super convenient if you have to meet up with someone as it’s 30 seconds off the a3.Vegetarian options: I had a lovely halloumi burger ? was excellentParking: Plenty of free parking in front of the pub
