Great coffee

Given some commenters' lacklustre comments about the quality, I was prepared for average coffee. Instead my oat latte tasted smooth, creamy and strong and the oat chai latte was spicy rather than sweet, exactly as it should be. Great to either chat with a friend or get some work done on a laptop without being bothered. I highly recommend.

Lovely, busy, comfortable coffee

Nice place but

Quiet and calm atmosphere with a good range of cuisine and drink.Dietary restrictions: Gluten and dairy free diets catered for, albeit there is a possibility of cross contamination.

Coffee was incredibly bland, almost no flavour at all. The bacon bap was very disappointing. The roll was doughy and the bacon tasteless. I thought Honesty group were bakers, I assumed the bread roll would be good quality. It was similar to a mass packaged, reheated one from Costa. The staff were disinterested in the customers and appeared to be arguing with each other. The Honesty group, used to be good.

My latte was okay but pumpkin and cream cheese panini was bland. My daughter ordered a bacon roll (the bread was doughy and chewy) and a cookie that was average. Nice cafe but overpriced for what we got. Won’t be going back.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available but not appetisingParking: Plenty of free parking options nearby

Nice setting and location. Coffee was not the best although the cakes we ordered were nice. The service was sadly awful. Staff failed to look at customers when ordering. Felt like we were not welcome. Much better options in the village.

Stale scones, poor, lukewarm cappuccino, surly staff. In a village where there’s no competition, complacency sets in

What we had was nice- tea, americano, Sausage roll and 2 paninis. The paninis were served on rather odd boards that looked like Japanese head rests... not sure why. It just makes it awkward to eat and awkward for staff to wash and carry out to serve. The place is nice inside though maybe some more comfortable seating options wouldn't go amiss- everyone heads for the 2 tables with sofa/armchairs. The one biggest complaint is that all the money has been spent on the look of downstairs, but the toilet up concrete stairs?? There is flat access into the cafe but where is the disabled toilet? The baby change facility in the same single toilet up concrete stairs? I could not bring anyone I know with mobility issues. And I wouldn't fancy my chances of not doing myself a mischief at a wine night if I needed the loo!

Awful. No warm welcome. No heating. Rude owner. No appreciation of business. Over priced drinks. Try to over charge you. Avoid!!

Unfortunately the staff seemed to be on another planet and it took way too long to get served. I had to tell them my order (which was essentially just 3 coffees to take away) three times and they still got it wrong. 20 minutes later I eventually got the coffees I ordered and was given a cup carrier that turned out to be broken, which meant I narrowly avoided my long-anticipated beverages ending up on the floor. It could have just been a bad day for them but I would hesitate to go back in there based on my experience.

I had a lovely little visit here for the first time today. A really tasty drink and snack and a very comfortable atmosphere to get a little work done whilst I was waiting for someone. The lady serving was very friendly and I felt super welcome.

Popped in for refreshments during our walk around the village. I opted for a bacon bap which was a bit disappointing. It had obviously been made in the Panini machine and was therefore squashed. Also the bacon was streaky so quite fatty. My partner enjoyed her tea cake and flat white. My tea was a little on the weak side one unlabeled teabag in a pot that serves 3 cups. Toilets, up a concrete staircase could do with a makeover. Gel dispenser empty and blinds broken. Staff friendly enough and a small offering of deli. items such as cheese and savories on sale. Some local produce also displayed such as gin and honey although quite expensive.
