Came in on a cold night, fire was lit and enjoyed a lovely meal in a warm friendly atmosphere. We ordered and paid for our meal from the app on our phone and got 40% discount. Received complimentary cheesy garlic bread while waiting. Our meal was served in no time and was very very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definitely one not to be missed.

very nice established pub, closing soon for 3 weeks for a refurbishment. Just moved here, this was our first visit. The pub was busy during lunchtime and there were three staff that I saw, managing the bar and food deliveries.Our food was pretty average, maybe because they were running down freezer stock (according to a sign on the till). Chicken was rubbery and chewy. One meal was not too warm, and my wife left it.Coffee was really nice, better than many other places we have been.Hopefully after the refurbishment the food will improve.Parking: you have to log the vehicle in at the bar, or via an App, to avoid parking charges. There is an EV charger tucked away in a corner that I have used. It has been blocked twice by non-EV vehicles but there are two spaces for EVs as long as you can squeeze in to the corner slot.

My husband and I came for Christmas lunch with our friend on Christmas Day. It was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere in the place was lovely. The staff were happy and helpful. It was the best Christmas Day dinner we’d ever had. Really appreciated the attention to detail. The little things, like a Christmas card on the table for us. The place was decorated beautifully. Pre ordered our food last week from the festive menu. Main courses delivered after a wait, only to be told we hadn't ordered starters - we had! Main courses kept warm during this time. Turkey was dried out. 2 of our party ordered the festive burger, with an extra burger- no extras in either, and not very festive - just burger and chips. Had an excellent 3 course Christmas meal with 5 others. Despite being crowded the food and service were spot on.
I booked a table for 14 team members for our Christmas lunch. Booking, paying the deposit, and placing our preorder was simple and the team even picked up on a mistake I made with the preorder and called me to ensure it was correct.The whole team were hugely impressed with the quality of the food and the service from the whole team, it was impeccable! You have certainly gained some new clients in the future and I can’t thank the team enough for providing us such a wonderful experience.

I had three courses from their Christmas menu which were all delicious and for the amount on my plate, great value for money. Thank you to the staff who were all great during our visit and an extra special mention to Molly who was very attentive and hospitable. Came in sat by the kitchens door so you expect some noise. It’s seems the manager bloke was having an argument in the kitchen. We could hear pots being thrown and lots of shouting. Come for the entertainment. Would come again and sit on the sofas.
