Miserable staff. Unpleasant because we hadn't booked. Plenty of tables outside but they told us if we got too hot in the sun, we weren't allowed to move. Half of the menu was unavailable. No coffee. Long wait despite being half empty. Don't bother

we will not be returning and 100% would not recommended. me and my partner came for some food here. as soon as we walked in the staff were chatting away at the bar whilest we waited to be seated. when we were seated we had waiting half an hour for our drinks to come so decided to ask a waitress to order some food and one lady walked past chatting away to another staff member and finger up to my partner and said “wait” and walked off. she later walked back and said “ what did you want” the way they spoke to us throughout the whole time was quite frankly disgusting.

We had a lovely dinner here we didn't expect it to be much more than the usual Italian cuisine but we're pleasantly surprised how much we liked it. The food was good, especially the fries. Pepperoni pizza pictured was with the supposed double pepporoni, which seems a tad stingy. Staff were great, and service was around 2 hours for the 3 courses off the set menu.

My recent visit to Bella Italia left me thoroughly impressed with the overall dining experience. The open kitchen concept added a unique touch, creating a lively atmosphere and providing a glimpse into the culinary artistry behind each dish. The ambiance was inviting, contributing to a pleasant dining atmosphere. The delicious food further elevated the experience, with each dish bursting with flavor and freshness. The Christmas menu, in particular, showcased a festive culinary creativity that was truly delightful. The attentive and friendly service from the staff added to the positive experience. Our server was not only courteous but also knowledgeable about the menu, enhancing our dining journey.Bella Italia's portions were generous, ensuring that no one left the table hungry. Additionally, the Taste Card deal offering 2-for-1 on the already appetizing menu was a fantastic bonus, making the dining experience not only enjoyable but also budget-friendly.In summary, Bella Italia exceeded my expectations with its open kitchen, inviting atmosphere, delectable dishes, and the added value of the Taste Card deal. I highly recommend it for a delightful dining experience, whether for a special occasion or a casual night out.

Not brilliantThe atmosphere was great. It took a while for the food to come out and longer for the pudding to come out.Ask for the bill quite a few times. Needs to be improved

The manager was very accommodating, she gave us a table on the ground floor after requesting it, and offered us a discount when there was a delay with our order.

Friendly and warm welcoming from the moment we sat down. We received exemplary customer service from Isa who looked after our table. Food was delicious and comforting that there was no time for a quick photo! Thanks Isa for a wonderful dining experience today!

Today was the second time that I go there. First time i was with my freinds and today i was with my son for lunch. In both experience i found that the waitresses and waiters are unsatisfied and unhappy that transmitted it to the customers. You should wait very long to take a look and request something to bring. This time even the food was really cold. And the pasta was not fresh. The only waitress that seems care us was Anaera.Actually I never back again and dont recommend others.

We booked a table at 7 and left at 10, I don’t think I need to say much more ? Customer service was terrible, everything came with a 30 minute wait minimum (including drinks and even asking where the toilet was). Some were served cold food, some were never given their drinks, and our waitress left midway through leaving us with no designated person for our table and making service even slower ?

When we first got there, everything seemed great and lovely, the place looked nice and seemed to have a great atmosphere. We were seated fairly quickly and had no troubles in terms of our reservation. However as the night progressed things just started to go down hill. At first it took around 20 minutes to be waited on, which fine I can understand that, they took our orders and I thought great. However we were waiting nearly another 20 minutes just to get drinks, and even then they completely forgot around 3 out of 9 of our drinks and in the end ended up not given a drink to one of them the whole night at all. Starters came out soon after, They were nice nothing special, I cant complain. We didn't get our actual mains until around an hour after we ordered (bear in mind not everyone of us got starters). The mains come out and mine was cold, but I had been waiting so long that at this rate I just ate it and didn't complain. I had a friend who had one of the pasta options who's plate was filled with a sloppy, water substance. The meals were nothing special, pretty mediocre to be honest. We were then waiting another 30ish minutes wating for our dessert orders to be taken. They finally did and I will say they came out pretty quick and were okay, definitely the best meal we all had there. The worst part is when it came to us all waiting for the bill, we were ignored by staff when we tried getting there attention to ask for the bill, after having waited patiently for a good 30 minutes. It got to the point we put our hands up, made direct eye contact with them and they still ignored us. We put all our dessert plates towards the end of the table hoping they would see we where done, but nope. Our waitress left as well. As someone who has severe anxiety and social anxiety, I started to find this unbearable, which yes they don't know I have that but still it is there job to be looking after their customers. When we finally got the bill we, as we were doing separate bills, had to figure it out ourselves, with little to no indication from the new waitress that we had (our previous one having left). It was a nightmare and so disorganised. our reservation was at 7 in the evening and we didn't leave until nearly 3 hours later, almost 10 o'clock in the evening. It was supposed to be a great night and yet it was just full of stress. As we here leaving we overheard a table next to us speaking to one of the waiters that they had ordered desserts over 30mins ago and they had still yet to come out. I was shocked. I will say the toilets upstairs were nice.

Absolutely horrible experience. We were told we can have our table till 7.30 but were not served food till gone 7.30 after arriving at 6.15pm. The food took forever to come because table service was forgotten and staff vanished. For starters: the mushrooms for my partner were delicious, the chicken wings for me were more of chicken toes, tiny. The kids had cheesy garlic slices which was floppy and unappretising with a side of cucumber strips. Mains: I ordered a seasonal salad due to that being the only thing I could eat on the menu (allergies), when stating my allergies only one of my allergies was written down, I was served an overflowing plate of lettuce leaves, olives that tasted off, tomatoes and a flavourless dollop of aubergine puree on the base of the plate, the butternut and rocket was invisible and the sauce well, if a tablespoon is classed as sauce then it was saucy. The pineapple and ham pizza had 2 pieces of pineapple, the other pizza was edible but again the cheese was near invisible, the pasta dish was cold but we were so hungry we overlooked it however, my partner said the taste was average and needed seasoning, the kids desserts 1 was unavailable and the other was a rock that we couldn't cut with a knife, so I let the waitress know and was told "well it's frozen so it's going to be hard, you should have left it to sit", state the obvious but icecream shouldn't be a rock, it shouldn't need to sit. We didn't order pudding because we were not impressed with the rest of our food. When paying, the lady came with the card machine and snatched the card from my partners hand, very unprofessional. The wine was nice.We felt very awkward and rushed.Today, both my kids have a runny belly. Will I be returning NO, do I recommend? NO, Zizzis is next door...don't make the mistake we made.Dietary restrictions: Extremely limited.

Lovely food. Served by Sophie who was really lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. My 2 year old loved his food and was given crayons and pictures.

We turned up after Black Friday shopping where we hadn’t booked a table. There was a lot of people waiting by the staff member who sat us was so friendly and professional it didn’t matter. The speed of service was fantastic and the food quality was amazing. Tony was so professional and friendly that we will definitely be back, thank you Tony

Shocking, we had booked as a large group, upon arrival we were told to wait outside as we were 15 minutes early which was fine. What was unacceptable was we were left waiting for 20 minutes in the cold for our table, no offer of drinks or orders taken ready. We booked for 7.45 and didn’t get our food until after 9, and when it did come orders were missing and staff attitude was appalling, with the waitress having a go at people for not hearing when their dishes came out. Staff didn’t shout loud enough or make much effort to ensure the dish got to the right person. One persons whole meal was not ordered. What I ate was good, but then trying to get staff to issue our bill and pay was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Really poor considering we were a big table and would have tipped highly, and thankfully didn’t ruin our friend’s special occasion. Won’t return in a hurry.
