Bit disappointed. This is a tad later review. They were meant to open until 6. We get there 350 with my son, order food and drinks then sit down. Haven’t even taken a sip they come over saying they are closing in 10 mins!!! They should have said so when we wanted to order! Wth. That’s poor services for me.

Lovely quality coffee and great atmosphere inside. The place is decorated very warmly and there’s plenty of seating, though does get busy. Great option of food and desserts, wide drinks selection also. Service was a bit slow, though I visited at a busy time and the staff clearly put care into the quality and making of the drinks. Also would mention that the Welsh cakes are not too bad, if you liked them here I would suggest trying them elsewhere for an even better experience! Pretty decent prices and there are some perks available with the loyalty app.

The food and drinks are lovely here, as is the atmosphere. I will say that occasionally certain staff members take very little to no interest in the customers and there's a bit of a wait. Other than that, lovely place.

I'm not a great coffee lover but what I do like is iced coffee and my lord they have nailed it, it's a great grappa and the cake is not bad at all, very pleasant and laid back and plenty of room.

Tried to order coffee and cake at approximately 3.00pm on Sunday but was abruptly told that they shut at 3.30pm and would have to make do with a serviette for the cake, not a plate, which is difficult with a creamy slice. Left ordering nothing due to the unfriendly attitude

I ordered a cheese and tomato toastie and was brought a cheese and ham toastie by what appeared to be the supervisor. I politely pointed out that mistake and he rudely announced it was what I ordered. I pointed out that I don't eat meat and haven't for many years so I was hardly likely to have ordered ham. He stubbornly asserted it was what I ordered, by now other tables were aware of our conversation. I again pointed out, I don't eat meat, maybe your server made a mistake at which point he stormed over to the counter and brought back my printed order! Underlining with his finger the word ham and thrusting it in my face. I said well I can't eat it, to which he was went and got me a cheese and tomato toastie, which he slammed down on my table without an apology. By now everyone around was staring at me. Honestly if Coffee 1 head office is reading this I think your staff require some extra training! And this was the chap in charge!!

Always love coming here, it has a home from home feel to the place with both dining tables and chairs available or a nice cosy, comfy couch, take your pick. With an array of drinks both hot and cold, coffee or otherwise, there are also other tasty treats on offer both sweet and savoury, we very much enjoyed the ‘Triple Chocolate Brownie’ and the ‘Lemon Drizzle’ both utterly delicious, we love coming here, it’s a lovely place to sit back, relax and treat yourself.
