Very slow service. Loads of staff mostly not doing anything, just stood behind the counter where there’s not enough space for them all. Hardly any sandwiches to choose from, despite the “freshly made sandwiches” sign. They’re not freshly made, they’re on an open shelf inside, not wrapped, for you to choose from. (No sandwiches are made on request). Drinks came in glass bottles with no straws or cups (not ideal when you have children with you). Loads of cakes, which did look nice, but we did not have any. £34 for 3 sandwiches and 3 cokes!! Sandwiches tasted OK but the same as what we could’ve made at home, nothing special. Definitely won’t be returning or recommending.

I was gifted a voucher for Christmas for afternoon tea! We decided to go on Monday mid-morning. The food was fabulous & very well presented. The ladies working at that time worked extremely hard to keep the place going in such a busy circumstances. Your staff are a credit to your business. We will be returning. Thank you

We have a lovely sandwich and coffee on Valentine’s Day. The staff amazing they serve us with lots of love. Very clean place and the prices are so affordable. Highly recommended!

Popped in for a coffee, rude staff, no acknowledgement of our arrival. I waited politely behind a staff member who was collecting a tray of goods before ordering when I was rudely spoken to about ordering. The manager very loudly and sarcastically said 'morning' to make us order, yet neither of them had acknowledged us. Awful place. Completely ruined the experience. The staff and manager clearly don't care about being polite and doing the basics when it comes to welcoming people and nice manners.

Had a buyagift voucher for the lunch for two. This included sandwich each, slice of cake each and a drink each. Food was lovely, main reason for me writing this review is the service we recieved from Sneha was exceptional!!!

Had a red velvet cake that had frosting instead of cream cheese. However, it was really good! The tea was nice and full, I had almost 3 full cups. Delightful!

We had a 2 person high tea experience voucher from a friend, and it was a very poor experience.Where to start? Grumpy staff, big pool of milk on the floor, only a few cakes available, dry sandwiches and cakes/scones, we asked for no mustard but got mustard, frozen cake slices, scones just laying around in a big plastic washing up bowl, dirty tables and not been cleared, paper cups. The cakes we took away as part of our experience were dry and half of them went in the bin as they were not enjoyable. Last but certainly not least, black mould across most of the door and window frames right next to where you have to sit. Everything is just dirty and unclean feeling. Certainly won't be back and would advise others to avoid! There is another cafe around the corner and another cafe/cake shop in the opposite direction, you would be better off at either of those!

No table service so you have to hurry your food order before someone walks in behind. Food expensive so you expect it to be nice but my croque was over cooked so I couldn’t eat the crusts as they were so tough. No glasses or ice to go with drinks so you drink out of oversized plastic cups. You don’t get what you pay for here.

Fantastic friendly service from the moment myself and my sister walked through the door today. Highly recommend here !

Had afternoon tea today. Just normal. a couple of the sandwiches bit dry. Customer service non existent. No napkins just kitchen roll. Saw the girl literally throw the scones in to be heated up. Tables not cleared or wiped down. Very disappointing . The place is very cramped and too hot today. They don't have enough room to work in.

The cream tea and cakes were so beautifully presented and tasted so fresh and certainly impressed us, this was a wedding present and we certainly enjoyed every moment. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely experienceVegetarian options: I requested vegetarian option and was advised that it was not a problem

Awful. Dirty. Disgusting hygiene. Staff didn't wash hands after stroking customer dogs. Staff coats thrown on counter. Carrot cake was inedible. Rock solid & dry. Returned. Cost of cake over £5!! There must be better options for tea & cake in Gunwharf. Avoid this place!
