We love to stop off for a hot chocolate during our walk at Staunton Country Park. The ladies in the tea rooms are so friendly and polite, providing excellent customer service. Great food, great value and great service.

Great place to grab a cake and coffee after an autumn walk in the Country Park. Staff are very welcoming.

What a wonderful place. So pleased we came here today. My daughter and I and my grandson had a lovely walk around the lake, fed the ducks, and Swan (with the proper food) and ended up tea rooms afterwards. The weather was kind, and it made all the difference.Kid-friendliness: Probably could do with a couple of swings for 18 - to 24-month-old children.Apart from that, it is a lovely place for an adventure.Parking: The tarmac part is very good. I didn't like the rough surface part.

An excellent venue for a family get together. Food excellent, service great. Selection of sanis, hot snacks, cakes, milk shakes, ice creams. Staff go the extra mile to make sure everyone happy. Good value too.

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and excellent seating area. The shop is a great addition to the park and much calmer and quieter than the one at the farm house. Give it a go!

First time we were visiting and won't be our last, the building itself and décor inside is beautiful, we decided to sit outside as a lot of seating is available, the hot chocolate was really tasty too, unlike other establishments I could actually taste the chocolate! The panini's we ordered were hot and delicious too, great for a quick bite on a walk, the staff were brilliant and super friendly, even under pressure from Saturday rush and the mass of customers, rushing around to accommodate needs, they remained smiling throughout, thank you so much, we will be back!

When I was a teenager I worked in a cafe that sold paninis. We had a panini press that would grill them, cook the inside, and leave them a third of the height and crispy - as a panini should be.I ordered a panini here and was presented with something that had not been pressed at all, just placed in an oven like the ones you see at subway. The inside was cold and the bread wasn't crispy. I asked for it to be redone as it was cold inside, not realising at that point that they didn't have a press. When it was brought back over to me it looked exactly the same and was still cold inside. The lady wasn't apologetic and almost seemed annoyed, and told me that they couldn't heat it any more without burning it. Maybe that's because you don't have the required equipment to sell paninis? When I was there I witnessed someone else sending a toastie back for the same reason.I didn't eat the panini as it was still cold, and lukewarm tuna doesn't full me with confidence that it's not going to make me ill.I won't be returning.

Friendly staff, better prices than the cafe in the farm, great food and lovely atmosphere. Comfy seating and lovely and toasty warm on a cold winters day.

The staff are hit or miss. Been here on many occasions and usually sit outside with the dogs but last visit it was bitter and we had a toddler with us. The lady on the till with brightly coloured hair was abrupt and telling us what we could do and we weren’t even talking to her. We were unsure how we went about sitting inside to be told we couldn’t despite there being seats available. It’s not the cheapest coffee shop but welcome after a walk but some staff need a little extra training in customer services and basic manners !

Lovely Afternoon Tea at The Coach House. As always the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Sandwiches very fresh, cakes and Scones delicious. Will definitely be doing again very soon

It’s primarily pre-packaged sandwiches with a small selection of cakes and pastries (sweet and savoury) but we thought all of the food looked good, tasted nice and was reasonably priced. The staff (young and older) were very pleasant and the setting was super. We also really loved the ethos behind the enterprise and will be back to provide further support.

Fantastic location and the perfect stop off after a lovely long walk.Sausage rolls with home made piccalilli to die for.Edit October 2022, i have rescored to 4 out of 5 on the basis that the coffee has become awful, is very weak, just like drinking hot water, yuk.
