The rooms were ample, clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were very friendly and attentive. And the area is incredibly beautiful.

Brilliant few nights in an old fashioned pub. The staff were so friendly and we had good Friday night drink with them in the pub and with the locals. Thank you, Jason & Nathan ?

Had a fantastic carvery on Easter Sunday. Loads of choice. 3 meats, wide variety of veg and different potato choices. Can’t do enough for you. Excellent quality food and good service. Will be returning.

Great little pub, called in here for a pint with a mate, friendly staff and very warming (from the log burner too), they had a pop up stall selling the best cookies and sweet filled pies! The Greek Gyros van was something different and added to the experience ??

Certainly wasn't a 4 star hotel! Bedroom furniture needs binning, the shower know fell off in my hand and the shower door leaked the water from the tray all over the bathroom floor, the pub was local people nice and friendly but wouldn't recommend anyone stay in the rooms!

The worst pub I have ever been to. No wine available until next day ? Dirty and a real mess. They do not deserve a Cask Marc from CAMRA. Defiantly a place to miss.

We stayed in the 4 bed room. Ideal location for where we wanted to explore, staff were friendly.Beds were comfy and bedding looked very new and clean.Parking is available on the pubs carpark. There were some toiletries in our bathroom. With a bit of paint and tlc this place could get 5 stars.

Stayed here on a Sunday and Monday night. The pub wasn’t open at any time during our stay so I can’t comment on the pub. If the pub had been open some of the problems we had might have been resolved quickly. We saw no staff during our stay and had to deal with the landlady by text message. Not all the towels were clean, the rubbish bin hadn’t been emptied. Tea and coffee were provided but there were no mugs and no milk. These problems were resolved by the second day. There was mould in the shower cubicle. The shade on the bedside lamp was in por condition. The accommodation block is right next to the main road through the village so there’s some traffic noise. When I asked about breakfast for the next morning the landlady said she would see if she could find someone to do breakfast but it wouldn’t be until after the school run. So we decided to go elsewhere for breakfast. On the plus side, the room was a good size and the room wasn’t expensive. I would say this place might suit people on business who just want a basic room for the night, but not suitable for anyone wanting a holiday in Herefordshire .
