I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more reviews. It was absolutely phenomenal. The service was exceptional and friendly. I loved how personal it all was. The food was honestly some of the best I’ve had in my life. We pretty much ordered the whole menu as we couldn’t decide on what looked best, and we had no regrets afterward. Everything worked so well together (even things that didn’t seem like they would). I can’t speak highly enough really.

Excellent food in a small and cosy restaurant. Attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended.

The most delicious food in a wonderfully relaxed setting and fantastic service, would recommend to everyone! We went for a birthday supper and nothing was too much trouble, they even catered to one vegetarian in our party with delicious veggie alternatives. Nothing was too much trouble for 33 The Homend and we will be visiting again soon!

Lovely, cosy family-run restaurant in Ledbury, with incredible cooking. The food was delicious with quite a few unique twists. Wines were also great and well-priced. Elizabeth was very welcoming and offered great recommendations on what to order - we weren't disappointed! Would highly recommend.

The best restaurant in the UK? I don’t think anyone could argue that there is one better than this. Elizabeth’s attention to detail on front of house is at 3 Michelin star levels - everyone leaves the place a friend. You never have to ask for anything because she’s already done it in a natural and almost psychic level of understanding. James works alone in the kitchen cooking British dishes with local produce. The resulting plates are, without doubt, the finest I’ve ever tasted. He takes a blend of French flair (mothers side) with British solidness (fathers side) to an unsurpassable level.

This is a truly delightful family run restaurant - fantastic food with a charming atmosphere beyond compare. Elizabeth offers such a warm welcome, and James uses nothing but the best and freshest local ingredients superbly cooked. It’s a joy to eat at 33, we’d highly recommend it.

Lovely, quirky place, really friendly and relaxed. Delicious food and wine and a small menu isn’t problematic when all dishes are fabulous. Really enjoyed it.

What a lovely little gem this restaurant is and so understated for the experience, wish we’d discovered it much sooner! It really is tiny with only 14 seats in a completely inconspicuous setting on Ledbury’s main street. In fact after parking the car I couldn’t find the restaurant even though I was practically standing outside it, I had to call my wife, hilarious! The food was absolutely gorgeous, we both had the smoked fish soup starter and beef ‘pie’ (deconstructed). The beef was just melt in the mouth tender. We were served some little ‘amuse bouche’ parmesan beignets which were lovely and their home made bread which was delicious. Overall, for the quality of the food, the experience and Elizabeth’s friendly and chatty welcome we would highly recommend 33 and we’ve already booked our return visit.

This is a beautiful place, the food and service is outstanding. We were made to feel very welcome . We really can’t fault it, but we felt it was a tad too expensive, hence the four star review. If money is no object we would really recommend this place.

The most delicious food and delightful service in a cosy setting. The second time we’ve enjoyed dinner at 33 The Homend and it certainly lived up to all my memories of a wonderful meal last time.

Quirky, sublime and great food. You need to book in advance, as it only seats 16 diners. Front of house, Elizabeth is bubbly and very welcoming and the secret weapon their daughter. Food is first class and credit to Elizabeth husband, has a limited menu but caters for most, we were not disappointed. Homemade bread and a prawn beignets before our starters. Only downside was a group of four mature women, who were loud and had no respect for other diners, continually on face time and were rather annoying. Elizabeth did ask them to tone it down a little, but after a certain amount of time continued to be be disrespectful to other diners. Apart from these supposedly respectful muppets, the food and ambiance was great. See why they are mentioned in the Michelin guide. Good luck to all at 33 Homend.

A stunning meal at 33 The Homend. You always receive a warm welcome from Elizabeth. And James’ cooking is just fantastic. We had purely a fish night on Saturday. Plenty of fish on offer for starters and mains all fresh from Cornwall. A select selection of wines. A bijou warm and cosy restaurant where you can see James happily cooking away in the kitchen. A night to remember.

Dinner for 6 to celebrate a retirement. Excellent service throughout and the food was way beyond good, we had an amazing meal and can thoroughly recommend for that special event. A family run restaurant with a lovely friendly atmosphere. We've save up to visit again! Tom & co.

You could walk past 33 and not realise it was there. But don’t. The food really is stunning, and the service matches it perfectly. We had the sardines, crab and scallop to start, followed by the beef and the monkfish. All perfectly cooked and presented. The fillet of beef really did melt in the mouth. Drinks and wine are reasonably priced. There are only three choices for each course and a short wine list, but everything on both was perfect , including the home made bread. The service was really friendly and very professional. 33 really is a hidden gem, and very highly recommended. Thank you!
