Unfortunately was lied to about holding deposit. My party adhered to all of the rules and deposit has not yet been repaid. Good breakfast in all fairness but just know that your deposit will not be repaid. Also a serious issues with flies- bring your own swat and bug spray- guests are expected to clean flies from their own beds.

Rude staff ,waitress tried to take cup away before finished coffee , expensive, old guy in there bit nosey, seemed controlling, not allowing us to discover the area ,then replied to my review asking if I was with unsuitable customers ? Obviously they don't want to act on negatives and turn them around ??

We had the most incredible 50th Birthday Celebration at Barton Court. The house is simple wonderful, with beautifully decorated rooms, lovely bed linen and great sized ensuites. The views of the Malvern Hills from my ensuite were quite picturesque – wish I could wake up and see that every day. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of fridge space which we need for all our wine! There were a number of rooms for entertaining including a very large lounge, dining room and study. We were a party of 38 and the house was just perfect in size and felt very spacious. We hired a local catering company recommended by Linda and we could not have been happier with the service and quality of food. Just fantastic. The grounds were an added bonus, and we took full advantage of them with an outside disco – just fabulous. We truly felt in the countryside and had total privacy.Linda and James were exceptionally welcoming and lovely to chat to. The coffee shop behind the house is an added bonus for fresh coffee and an amazing selection of homemade cakes. It is easy to access but at the same time could easily have not been there in terms of it interrupting our experience and enjoyment of the house. The segregation is subtle but effective.Overall we had the best weekend, we highly recommend it to anyone planning a large family / fiends gathering and will definitely be returning

Stopped at the Loose Box for coffee and cake. After being shouted at for trying to serve ourselves with cake (the plates and cake slices were there), we placed our order. Coffee came quickly, but no cake. After a long wait, we asked about the cake, only to be told (with no apology) that our order had been forgotten. When the carrot cake eventually arrived, it was dry and overcooked. There were other people at the next table whose lunch order had been forgotten, and who were treated in an equally rude manner

Went to Barton Court for Hereford Art week.Staff were very rude and unhelpful when we asked where to park our campervan. Were told to park round the back but for only 30 minutes. We did not stay as it was pointless. We will not be back

What a shame about this place, visited today for lunch, lovely food and drinks. There was a group of 4 people having lunch, they had an elderly dog with them that was constantly barking, the owners seemed to ignore this but it clearly put other guests off who moved outside to eat, really spoilt our lunch and would have stayed longer, shame that the staff didn't take initiative and ask the dog owners to maybe take the dog outside. Such a put off. Leadership absent unfortunately! Could have been dealt with in a polite business like fashion.Put us off returning. Big shame.

First time to Barton Court, the area is very beautiful, and the cafe was a welcome sight. The cafe is in an old horse stall, still with the names of the horses above the door! It is quaint, and rustic, entirely appropriate. We just had some soup but it tased home made, and delicious. Friendly service and very reasonable costs. It was quite busy, and we visited mid morning, mid week.Vegetarian options: I saw a veggie lasagne on the menu, I might try it next time.Parking: Car perk is on site and close by to the cafe.

Linda and her team organised a delightful afternoon tea party for my Mum's 90th birthday at very short notice. They accommodated us in a beautiful private space called the Engine room which was perfect as had easy access for my Mum in a wheelchair and disabled toilet adjacent to it. The caterer provided a beautifully displayed and delicious selection of home made sandwiches, cakes and pastries, even homemade jam for the scones. We were served tea and coffee by two lovely members of staff who had stayed on after their normal shift in the cafe to host us and nothing seemed too much trouble.I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for something similar and will be back to try their lunch menu in the cafe.

Were over the moon to win a short stay at the amazing Clocktower! It was a fantastic break and just what we needed. The cottage is a perfect romantic break for two, and super dog friendly. We felt at home straight away.\\nThe cottage is quirky, with lots of lovely touches from the owners, very warm and well equipped. The bed is huge and super comfy, and the little upstairs loo saves trogging downstairs to the main bathroom in the dark!\\nBarton Court and it's surroundings are simply magical, and will only improve as the owners keep up their good work and fulfill their plans.\\nLinda and James, the owners, and their staff, could not have been kinder and we can't wait to return!\\nSharon and Vince from Wales xxx

Excellent tucked away place to drop in for a lovely snack, coffee or meal and drink. We had really good fish pies and great coffees as usual.

Great venue, brilliant friendly staff and great food, also have various events like a classic car drive in which is really worth looking out for (Last Thursday of the Month when we went). Some really great and rare old cars and all owners very friendly when you asked questions. A regular stop for us if cycling or walking.
