Good chips, cosy atmosphere and a fireplace indoors.

What a treat! Lovely pub, great staff and beautiful fish and chips for lunch. Could not fault anything. Highly recommended and we will be back!

Great place to walk to from Malvern, and usually a nice selection of well kept beers on the barThis year's beer fest was nice and chilled, with enough beers to be interesting. Well worth a visit or three.

We ate lunch here midway through a walk with a large group. The food was nice and piping hot. The only negative was very tired rocket garnish. Staff efficient, patient and friendly

Spent the afternoon here with friends and all of our children. Such a fabulous place. Welcoming, warm, clean, superb staff and fabulous Sunday lunch!! Can’t rate this place highly enough. Keep doing what you do. Brilliant.

I’ve been to this pub several times in the past satisfactorily so was very disappointed with the food on this occasion. I had fish and chips; chips stone cold, peas in a separate dish didn’t appear cooked at all and the batter was soggy ( though fish itself generous).. no one came to check that the food was OK. I didn’t complain as we were in a group and I didn’t want to appear moany but really it was awful!

Last minute stop, had not booked, friendly welcome on a dark and stormy night, good food, good pub grub, lots of happy people here. Highly recommended.

We arrived at 1 pm midweek and had a long wait to be served . Despite there not being many people needing to be served we ended up asking for menus after 25 minutes of waiting . The female staff were inattentive and one member of staff was busier drinking a pint of beer behind the bar. We ended up going to the bar each time to ask for desert menus and coffee etc . The hake was excellent but the fish cakes were not good at all . They seemed like they’d been over fried and were hard and dry. Vegetables soggy. At 2.45pm we had only just finished our dessert and one of the staff came round to mention that the pub closed in 10 mins so it was last orders It felt so rushed at the end. If we hadn’t had to wait so long to be noticed and served we would have been finished easily by 2 30 pm. Pub was also v chilly as there seemed to be a through draft from two open doors. Our previous meal there was a very different experience / we had the same fishcake meal and it was a much more enjoyable meal - better cooked and presented. There was a male in charge previously and he was v attentive and made us feel welcomed. This time we felt like we were an inconvenience. Food not cheap either. Have mixed feelings about returning

Family of 4 away on holiday and all had a really enjoyable meal. Glad we chose this pub out of all the ones near us, even though we did accidentally drive to another pub of the same name first! The vegan lime and chilli burger was especially good. Portions size was very generous and at a reasonable price. Staff were all friendly and a nice atmosphere, building and decor.Only negative I would say is that there's no kids menu. Could do a 9" pizza, fish and chips, Mac and cheese, chicken nuggets and chips all fairly easily. In fairness they did say the could make some dishes smaller for kids but having a menu would be easier.

Went there for music festival this weekend great music but we order drinks for our party and had to put a £5 deposit on a wine glass as the young lady stated to me it's in case you steal it or break it charmed I'm sure needless to say did not order food as might have been another deposit required for cutlery.

Lovely country pub with friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Food was simple and done exceptionally well and the beers and ciders were well kept. The deck outside was a lovely place to chill after a long day hiking.
