New years separation. We were given a fist class service here on a very busy day. Nothing to mush trouble and all with a smile thanks for a lovely mael at a excellent price.

Really impressed with the Full Pitcher. Been here a few times now since under new ownership. Sunday roast exceeded my expectations - lots of meat, lovely rosters and a good selection of vegetables. Also was impressed with the Thursday curry night. Great selection and very tasty dishes. Pudding was lovely too.

Attentive staff, efficient service and plentiful meal servings. For my tastes, the carvery needed to be hotter, and definitely, the plates needed to be hot.

Massive servings. I have a good appetite but had to take some home to dogs and couldn't eat all my beautifully cooked chips. Will be

First time visited, food was variable. We had carvery, the portions were generous, meat was lovely and tender, minted boiled potatoes and broccoli was barely cooked, cauliflower cheese very yummy. As for the team, the stand out for me was the carvery chef, friendly and welcoming. As for the pub itself the decor was tired and needs a fresh lick of paint, the tables were a good size and reasonably spaced apart. We would revisit and hope this pub is given a chance to build.

The food was good but it was on cold plates, so by the time u got back to table the food wasn't very warm.... So please please put on hot plates....

Pop into the Inn law's local, they are be to the area and slowly enticing then to explore. Had a lunch carvery, absolutely ? ?. Baked ham, beef, pork options. Had the ham.... it was moist, perfectly succulent. Vegetables fresh and tastey. Gravy sublime, and proper stuff too. Specials for OAP's so mom was more than chuffed. Give it a try!

Really poor Sunday carvery. That was a small amount of need left which I can only describe as looking like a old leather shoe, if that was me I would have taken it away and say we’d ran out rather than have it on show. We all ended up having Turkey as that was the best looking option. Veg was clearly frozen and warmed up. There’s no excuse for not using fresh veg on a carvery. I was also told by the chef to”dig to the bottom of the veg as it will be warmer” and it was luke warm at best. Probably the worst carvery we’ve ever had, wouldn’t recommend

Fantastic Friday Lunch carvery. Exceptional value for money. Lots of other menu choices too. Only passing through the area but if we’re back this way again will definitely re-visit

Carveries are back. £18.95 for an XL £15.95 for the standard. Couldn't finish mine. It was very good though. Definitely book a table as it was rammed full at 1.30

Used to be a great place, when it was the 2,4,6,8 now overpriced and mediocre. Although, haven't been back in two years, but the two times visited beforehand we were all very disappointed.
