Booked the back room for a group of 19 and enjoyed a most excellent Christmas meal at a very reasonable price. Friendly and efficient service. Well worth visiting.

We didn’t book and they were busy but very accommodating. The food was very reasonably priced with ample portions and great quality ingredients cooked perfectly. 10/10

This place is one of very few places where the locals welcome you just as much as the pubs management and their staff. As for the the food and drink it’s second to none. I’m usually disappointed that I can’t get to enjoy the food due to being fully booked but that just shows how special this little pub is. Book your self in to enjoy the wonders that awaitParking: Get there early as it gets busy!

My band Whiskey River played at the Linton Summer Sessions in the back garden at The Alma. It was a terrific day, with great music, beer and sunshine. I took a sandwich, so didn't try the myriad food on offer. A great day was had by all. Recommended!

Just a proper local pub with excellent food and service. A lovely place for an evening meal. Reminds me of the Aidensfield arms in Heartbeat - sadly no Oscar?

We were visiting our friends, they took us to their local pub and had the most delicious lamb shoulder that was cooked to perfection! Warm and friendly welcome. What a wonderful pub to have, truly a real asset for the village.

My husband and I visited the Alma Inn on a wet and miserable midweek lunchtime and received a warm and friendly welcome. The pub was running a ‘Lamb Fortnight’, offering a selection of dishes utilising local produce. We had homemade faggots and lamb kebabs. Both were beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent staff and wonderful service. Highly recommended.
