My first visit here, I'm sure it won't be the last. Excellent food, 6 of us and everyone very happy with it.Parking: There are a couple of disabled parking spots next to entrance otherwise fairly steep climb from lower car park.

We made a casual stop to this place after a visit to May Hill. The walk on the hill was a non starter due to the unexpected rainfall, but our visit to The Penny Farthing more than made up for it. The place has a warm atmosphere, and the staff were very welcoming. We ordered food after having a drink by the fire, and we loved it. The food was all freshly cooked and very well presented. The portions were very generous, and prices very reasonable. Very good value for money I would say. This place is an absolute gem as far as I'm concerned, and I would highly recommend it.

Over priced and staff were rude. We came on the 21st December for my birthday. I ordered the sea bass but was told it had run out! Why was it still on the blackboard then? Had the salmon instead which was way over priced for what we got. No one rated the food at all and we certainly won't be returning.

First visit, and won’t be the last. Lovely country pub, great value food, well presented, friendly staff. Lots of cozy corners to sit for a quiet chat. Outstanding views across the Herefordshire countryside, would be perfect on a summers day. Recommended.
Popped here for lunch with some friends who live nearby. Great choice on the menu/specials board and portions were absolutely huge. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Look forward to visiting again.

What a find! Super lunch, plenty of choice, everything was beautifully cooked and tasted great, good sized portions, sadly no room to sample the sweets, hopefully next time. The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. I give it 10 stars. Quite a trek for us but will definitely return.

We were on holiday in the area and popped in for a drink at the recommendation of the lady whose accommodation we were staying at. We weren’t disappointed, the service was very good and the pub had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere; because of this we decided to book a table for the following evening for dinner. Again we were not disappointed, the food was great - lamb shank with mash and gammon and chips. All very reasonably priced. If we had been staying in the area longer, this would have become our “Local”.

This place is amazing. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was amazing and so well presented. My only criticism is there was too much of it. We did ask for leftovers to be packed for us and we had enough for tea the next day. Good value indeed
