We visited on a Thursday evening, and during our visit there was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. The food was well cooked and the menu was more varied than in a typical 'Indian', although it was all pretty low in spice. But the service was really poor: the staff were rude throughout and we were rushed when we were leaving, as though the table was desperately needed. We might have considered visiting again if it had just been the less than sparklingly food, but with the service we will not be back.

All staff friendly and efficient. Food was superb. Came quickly, hot and extremely tasty. Recommend naan bread. Never tasted ones so good. Also had onion bhaji and chicken tikka Masala which were delicious. Will definitely be back in the near future.

First time ordering from Ruby's and probably the last. I ordered takeaway for me and my kids. The kids like Makhani (butter chicken) as it is a nicely spiced (but not too hot) tomato sauce. Sadly what arrived was like a bad Korma. Bland, thick, pale yellow, no tomato flavour, dry chicken and with bitter chunks of onion. The kids hated it and when I tasted it I had to agree. I rang to ask if there had been a mistake but was told this is their version of Makhani. So my advice is to avoid the Makhani. The Bhuna was fine.

Dissapointed with the chicken tikka Makhani, which lacked flavour. Such a shame, chicken chunks were decent texture. This was a takeaway.

Fantastic Food as always but went above and beyond to make my sons 18th special , even happy to cook items not on the menu. My mum is in a wheelchair so they opened up the fire exit to get her in , nothing was too much trouble , the staff are amazing . If you are looking for somewhere for a special celebration Ruby’s is it . Thanks Guys

Where do we start ? What a place this restaurant was an amazing experience from the moment we sat down. The starters was amazing and the presentation was top notch. We had a selection of dishes but the lamb shank was spiced perfectly I'm not the biggest fish fan but the salmon was perfect defo worth a try

We dined here on New Years Eve, and though the restaurant was busy, not all the tables were full while we were there. Our waiter was quite short with us whenever we asked for something, and the entire staff seemed rushed off their feet. Despite this we didn’t have too long a wait for our food, which was tasty. Very few dessert options available though.

On a cold and windy Saturday everyone wants a takeaway delivery the minute they want to have tea right? Everyone who posts issues with this, get in the real world and plan ahead. These guys are busy and things can take a while because the food is absolutely great, in our opinion, best in town, and delivery drivers are in short supply. If you can, pick it up at a specific time. 9 out of 10 times, takeaway has been absolutely banging and again tonight. Cut them some slack harsh reviewers!

Our first visit but it won't be our last. If you want a standard Indian menu then this isn't the place for you. The food is exquisite. It looked like we were lucky to get a table as the restaurant was packed with a really buzzing atmosphere. Despite this, the service was excellent.

Full of oil and deliveries are getting longer and longer. We were told 1hr on our last and it was 2.5hours! We won’t be coming in or ordering anymore. I don’t like staff lying to customers. We live 5mins away. When your told the driver is on his way at the hour mark, he’d have to go a long way to take another hour and a half on top! Lost my respect and my custom.

Had a fantastic takeaway lamb Roganjosh huge pieces of tender lamb fresh tomatoes and other ingredients beautiful sauce. The rest of the meal was upto the same high standard. Staff friendly and efficient. Will go again when in area.
