10 out of 10! Had the Coconut Crab for starters (incredible) and the House Meat Grill (served sizzling). I would travel a long way to go again, highly recommended!

I had a great time here with my squash buddies. Great food, reasonably priced. Staff friendly and helpful. The venue is beautifully with lots of eclectic touches.Highly recommended.

No good. The prices they charge you expect top notch fresh food. This ain’t the case. We had 3 different dishes, they all tasted the same and you couldn’t tell one from another. £12.95 generally a dish, but it’s no better than a microwave curry. Very, very overpriced. Honestly avoid, nothing but a rip off

Wow what can I say the restaurant was so well planed out and decorated to the highest stander. The bar is so nice and has very eye catching cocktails ?. The Indian food ? is very well seasoned and the chefs there no what they are doing. The Front of house are very well managed and seated us in a very nice place. Are waitress was very polite and welcoming. I will definitely be coming again CHRIS X

A very poor experience. The online menu doesn't reflect the current prices by as much as 50%!There was nobody to greet us or the other family who arrived at the same time. The food was massively under spiced. My dosa wasn't a dosa, but well made puri wrapped around unspiced mash with lamb.Though the restaurant was very quiet, a noisy group of four were then seated right next to us which didn't help the atmosphere. Our starters were all bright red with 80s dye but not spiced.By the time our mains came, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot... Heating pumping out unnecessarily. I gave up and went and sat outside and my girlfriend had the food boxed up.Nobody enquired as to why we left early... Nobody seems to care about service, spicing of food and in fact were contemptuous...serving a dish as one thing, when they know it's not. There are several much better restaurants in Stortford

Ate here last night after reading reviews on Fork and here. What a disappointment. We were caused to wait with another family as nobody was staffing the reception at 6.30. When we were shown to a seat, the room was uncomfortably hot. Checking out the menu, I was shocked, many of the items were double or almost double what was on the website, starting with poppadoms, including the fish dishes. The online menu mentioned dosas, a favourite of mine... But these weren't on the printed menu. Our waiter said he'd ask the chef if he could do one for me, I didn't expect a positive response as I know they're made from a batter of fermented rice and lentils. I was delighted when our waiter returned, saying that chef would make me one. We ordered the mixed tikkas and mixed veg starters.. The tandoori food all came out bright red with food dye that most curry houses stopped using in the 90s. The meats were under seasoned, hardly spiced, but good quality.. the cheese tikka seemed to have been smeared with onion purée but nothing else. The onion bahjis were crispy and good. I commented to the waiter that the food lacked spice.. He told me I should have asked for spicy!!! Having mentioned the lack of spice, I expect our mains to be an improvement... What a disappointment.. our king prawn shashlik was bright red with dye, but lacking taste, the onions and. Peppers almost raw. But a greater disappointment was the dosa, which was actually a couple of purees wrapped round underspiced mash with lamb... No dips or chutneys. We had ordered potatoes, chickpeas and spinach and paneer side dishes. The spinach was fresh, creamy and delicious, though no perceptible spicing. The spuds were tasty and even had some spice, but the vast amount of chickpeas were bland and boring. By this time, a table of 4 loud people had been seated next to us , even though the place was almost empty.. Also the heating was pumping out hot air. I asked that the heating be turned down. The room was so uncomfortably hot and the food so bland and not what I expected, I couldn't eat any more, so went to sit in the cool outside, leaving my partner alone, to eat her prawns and pay. She joined me, with take away boxes of left over food. The restaurant looks good but fails to provide the quality and service suggested by the decor. Had I not felt so uncomfortably hot, I would have asked to speak with the manager, but my partner was treating me, though we won't rush back. A massive disappointment

We eat here regularly and also get takeaways. The food is always superb. This weekend we ate in the restaurant and the service was amazing. The waiting staff and manager were extremely accommodating.

Friendly staff, lovely decor, but their portions need to increase. Only 5 pieces of chicken.
