Pete and his crew did a first class job when we held the wake for my friend at The Black Boy. We couldn’t have asked for more, and the visual tribute was much appreciated. Food was excellent. Highly recommended.

Discriminatory pub, anti traveller, disgusting attitude between the staff, will NOT be returning!!!

We were looking for a place to hold a family gathering after our fathers funeral and decided to hold it at the Black Boy. The owner, Dilly, arranged extra staff for the day, arrange a fine spread of food, asked what music we would like and if we wanted to show pictures of dad on their screen. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were friendly and welcoming. This little country pub has limited parking, but that doesn't stop it getting busy.

They discriminate travelling family's they are very rude and aggressive discussing one min we could have a table just walk in then when we got their because we are travellers they told us they had no seats when there was more empty seats then taken

Popular and lively local pub. Good for sport on TV. Friendly and efficient bar staff. Annual firework display of epic proportions - free but donations to Help for Heroes/Remembrance Day expected and much appreciated.

This is really weird. The bar's name is "The Black Boy"??? LOL. What kind of name is that for a bar? "I went to The Black Boy". I had never seen this kind of bar before.
Great place. We had my nanas wake there. They helped from start to finish.
