We needed a dog friendly table, which happened to be in the public bar, the staff had decorated the table, so was really Christmasy and the food and service was great. Thanks to the bar staff for their efforts , would definitely recommend this pub.

Went for a Sunday roast, the dessert came out before the main, the stuffing was burnt , the TWO roast potatoes were hard and cold and the portion of cauliflower cheese was a tiny floret DRY with no sauce . Did not want to make a scene, however had to make a review DO NOT GO THEIR. Had a bad stomach the next day.

Arrived to watch women's world cup, the landlords attitude and manner was not welcoming and in my opinion dismissive to the point of being rude. Would not return.

We stumbled on to this place by chance, was a great find. The staff were friendly and helpful, we felt there was a great atmosphere. The steak and chicken we ordered was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Prices are reasonable. You don’t have to deal with entering your REG or risking a fine. Would defo go again and recommend
