Great Sunday lunch. Very good value. Very attentive and friendly staff. Atmosphere a bit lacking as it was quite quiet.

So happy the pub has got some great people running it at last! Great food, great drink choice and summer nights spent in the garden are brilliantKid-friendliness: There's loads of families that go, especially in the summer!

Went tonight with a friend first time... i had lovely cod and chips. But his lasagna was hard in places. Reheated no doubt as its a hard dish to make fresh each order. But he had to leave a fair bit.. More care taken over reheating or keeping hot please.... Friendly staff but nois, crowd there too not caring how loud they were Guess thats pubs for you tbough they could have been more thougbtful.... Thats not the pubs fault though. Thought drinks were expensive.... About £2 or £3 more than Whetherspoons for two drinks... Not sure we will revisit.

It has been many years since I have been here. There is plenty of outdoor space. The servers were friendly. A mixed age range of clients and fairly quiet, but it was a Monday, early afternoon.

Nice local pub. People are a pleasure to meet and converse with. The food served if something to see or, importantly, try. But a pub that is probably underrated but made fantastic by the staff that run a great establishment. Great garden. No sky or BT sport, which probably helps the pub! Now has the garden with new benches and the trees cut back to allow my sun into the garden. Brand new section with a covered BBQ, but this isn't your standard BBQ this is gourmet BBQ. Food is unbelievable. Easy for me to say, but you must visit and try. Reasonably priced

It’s nice to go to the pub and have a bbq . Lovely different variety on the bbq. The chicken curry was amazing. And the price range was very reasonable.

We were looking for a pub with traditional food for mums birthday and had never been here before so thought we would check it out. Irish waitress so friendly and sat us down straight away and handed us the menu and took our drink orders, which she promptly delivered. We were shocked at how cheap the food was priced on the menu and thought they would be a smaller version, how shocked we were when a huge plate of homemade lasagne, crispy chips and fresh salad appeared for me and mum, my husband had no less than 5 locally sourced sausages with creamy mash, crispy onions and peas, he could not eat it all, even thought it all tasted absolutely lovely. Publican nice too, he came to ask if food was OK, we advised it was lovely. So a pint of Moretti, a pint of Shandy, one cappacino, a bottle of Barefoot cabernet savouignon, 3 main meals, £45, unheard of, left a £5 tip for great service, well deserved. Great staff, food and wine, we will be back. Thank you

Visited this pub for the first time today. We received a very warm welcome. The food and drink prices were very reasonable. The food was absolutely amazing. Very generous portions and clearly freshly cooked. Could not fault it at all. Felt like a valued customer and the staff went above and beyond. Will definately go back. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
