Chicken tikka masala is the best with mushrooms rice and garlic

Tasty but not outstanding food, attentive service. Just a shame it was a bit quiet for a Saturday night! It would have been nice to see a more varied menu (Babuls of Barnard Castle is excellent for inspiration)

Visited last night (Saturday) with son. Only people in restaurant . Food very mediocre , lamb was not tender and a bit tough, sauce was ok Bearing in mind we were the only patrons the chef did not make much effort. Have had good meals there previously

The restaurant is tucked away in old Hatfield making it an gem opposite the station. The food took abit longer than expected but was worth the wait due to it being cooked to perfection, the blends of spices we’re not too overpowering but had enough kick to enjoy the dishes. A personal favour is the naan, as it was so soft and fluffy. The decor and atmosphere were also pleasant, would recommend for groups and and small parties. Thanks again to the Mo, will be looking forward to seeing you again
I love the food here, the menu is unique and the dishes well presented. The shashlick is amazing, but my favourite is the Lamb Vin Roux. Lovely atmosphere in a peaceful setting, the restaurant is off the main road. Staff are friendly and efficient.

I have been having takeaways from taste of india for a couple of years now and the food is always fantastic and excellent. I can honestly say i have never had a bad experience. I would take some of these bad reviews with a pinch of salt.

Food had no taste chicken was all washed out, and the lamb was very chewy. I was with friends and not one of us enjoyed the experience.
Always good atmosphere and quality food.
