Visited this restaurant last night with friends and the food and service was very poor. All our meals came out at separate times (if we had waited for all the meals to come to start eating the first would have been stone cold) 3 had the mixed grill which was substantial in size and OK quality, no more, but I had nachos with chilli which had plastic cheese, so much raw onion sprinkled on it was overwhelmed and beef chilli in a separate bowl, which came 5 minutes after that resembled oxtail soup - very poor quality, I think it may have come out of a tin! I left most of it. For dessert (all of which came up 5 minutes apart too) I had Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was a tiny portion served with liquid ice cream and didn't taste like Sticky Toffee Pudding at all, more like chocolate but synthetic tasting. One of my friends had Eton Mess, which had no meringue whatsoever, the cream was warm and the ice cream melted. Very poor food and service, we will not be returning.

Came for a quick lunch as working nearby. The food was great value and a friendly polish manager was very welcoming. Will be back again

Visited 20th August 6.30. Very busy due to an offer on 2 courses for £10.00. Was told at least an hour waiting time. Not a problem as we went elsewhere. However the young lad behind the bar was blamed for the delay. I was horrified that another member of staff in black plastic trousers threw her lanyard at him.

Mason and Derrie were very accommodating and the food was lovely, I had the mixed grill and my friends had the stack burger, all cooked to perfection!

A lovely atmosphere, everyone was very welcoming and seemed to be loving life. My partner and I had the Big Stack burger each, this was the nicest burger I've ever had, it was as if it was designed to be the exact contrast to fast food burgers, like the Hilton of meat stacks.

Hubby and I popped in early evening yesterday always greeted by the friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. This pub is family friendly and we often as a family pop in as food and ambience are excellent. I had a Burger with yummy chips and home made coleslaw,good portions. Hubby had the Mixed Grill it was very nice, steak cooked to perfection. The pub has a lovey garden well kept and beautifully lit up at night. Very doogy friendly bowls of water readily available for your dog nice to know after your beautiful walk through Hatfield you can pop by for a drink or a bite to eat. pub is spotless and spacious and sanatizers in place should you require. Would recommend for a family meal as well as a couples and groups of friends. They also do a brilliant breakfast. Menus attached well worth a visit.

I recently ate here last month. The food was excellent and the service provided was great. I would definitely go back again. I learned you can get the loyalty card for deals. Which you can ask a member of staff for the leaflet containing the card.

Come down with my family for the queen's jubilee,turned up and the place looked very welcoming we where seated straight away considering how busy it was I had the fish and chips and was very nice definitely would recommend this place to my friends and family and I will be coming back again, thank you to all the staff for a wonderful day .

My family and I always look at trip advisor before visiting a restaurant, and come and experience it for ourselves, we had a friendly welcome by a very happy young man that was more than welcoming to our family just walking in with no reservation, we were sat and was given a brief of how service ran with ordering at the bar and our table number (16) I have fussy children and this was no issue for the same man behind the bar, food came correct and quick and I couldn't fault the service, just seemed a little short staffed but really pleased with our visit! We will be back! (with a reservation)

Not worth going at all poor place, needs renovating, carpets ripped, light fittings help up with tape. Food was very greasy and poor cheap quality.
Delicious food and amazing costumer service. I had a great experience. Definitely, I will come back.

Give it one star would like to give it no stars had a bad experience recently Burnt food ask for a drink have to ask 4 Times to get a drink you’ve ordered not enough staff working Used to love this product will not return until they pick up standards

Not been here for a long time so was not sure what to expect - I am so glad I did . What fantastic service we got from Will and the team - nothing was too much trouble. The prices were so reasonable too - could not believe how cheap the wine was and I enjoyed it. I will definitely be going back . I came away thinking what a lovely evening . Thanks to all the staff
