This place has really gone downhill. It was great at first but now OMG poor quality food, stale tiger bread and worse of all rude staff and ruder management, never again. Avoid at all costs.

Arrived very early one morning from Eastbourne to work . Lovely Irish lady made us very welcome. My friend had a full English and I the BEST porridge in years ( with strawberrys on top ),and take it from me porridge can be good or bad. Five stars twice. Thank you.

First time at this cafe, recommended by my sister in law who sang their prasies. Food was very nice and very filling, even real chips and not those frozen ones you usually get in cafes.Staff very nice and friendly, quick service, can get very busy. I would definitely go back if i was in the area again

Fantastic cafe in the town centre with a huge menu including daily specials. Best sandwiches, excellent coffee and milkshakes, good quality ingredients and all at very reasonable prices. The staff are amazing, friendly, service is very efficient and as soon as a table is vacated, it is quickly cleaned and usually re-occupied. Other Hertford cafes could learn a few lessons from Hope Cafe!
