Lovely pub with a huge selection of beers. It's a very old pub with plenty of character. The staff and locals are very friendly too.I had a Tring beer (half pint £2.50) they also had St Austells and Abbot and one other available, aswell as lager/Guinness. Very reasonable prices, highly recommend ?

We were very lucky to get a table here for 15 people, last minute on a Sunday after being let down! Some of us had travelled for 2 hours with small children. We recieved a warm welcome by all the staff and were all really well looked after the whole time. Great atmosphere, lovely food. Thanks for saving the day and making it even better.

Called in for a early pint and a snack and had a very warm welcome on what was one of the coldest days this winter. Both fires on and the very helpful young lady moved a table nearer to them. Not very often you get this sort of service nowadays I said to my wife, especially as we hadn't requested this.

Popped in for lunch. A lovely pub with lots of character, wooden beams, stone floors and exposed brick walls and quirky traditional seating. Thank goodness it doesnt look like every other pub. The burgers are really good and you can build them to your preference. Worth a drive
