We visit towns most weekends and popped in to this very busy restaurant, just for a quick bite to eat.We had soup and paste dishes which had loads of flavour, the staff were great and such a buzz with families and couples.Full range of Italian food on offer and well priced.We would visit again if in the area.

The food here is simply excellent/delicious and served piping hot ..... why is that so difficult in other establishments?Good choice of wines.The service is attentive without being mithering.Pricing is fair.Eating out in new venues can be a lottery but L'Artista is one of our "fall backs" for those times youre not willing to risk being disappointed. A stalwart of ours that never disappoints.

At L'Artista one feels as if you walked in a restaurant in Italy. It has that special family feeling one gets if in Italy. The cuisine is authenticly Italian. In the years my family have been going there, food quality and service, is second to none.

Was recommended to eat here by the hotel reception when staying over on business. The restaurant was busy, the service was polite and efficient. I ordered Lasagna, a garlic pizza bread and a green salad. The food was exceptional and was delicious. Portions are big but very good quality. Bill including a beer and service (added on) was sub £30. Can not recommend enough and I will return when in Letchworth.

Would've given it an extra half star but here we are... the service was immaculate with kind and attentive staff. We were served extremely fast and our food was boiling hot. We ordered the penne arrabbiata and the mushroom risotto. We were surprised as pasta usually gets cold fast but ours was lovely and warm for a long time. although the penne was particularly spicy but thats probably down to my weak tastebuds. but that meals were delicious. Our favourite was definitely our dessert, we ordered tiramisu and definitely the best we have ever had. absolutely delicious. The restaurant was particularly loud and bustling but thats because it was a Saturday night so i can knock it. Overall a lovely date night restaurant and would definitely visit again.
