Ridiculously Expensive!!! £94 for 3 adults and 2 x babies for breakfast is outrageous . Won’t be going back until they have a reality check . Cheapest item was £14 . So many other good places for 30% less

We arrived on time and it took a while to get the menus despite the restaurant being 1/4 full. Then the light lunch took 45 minutes to arrive, which wasn't easy with hungry kids waiting. No explanation and when we complained we were offered "a complimentary drink" to apologise. The coffee was fine and the kids burgers, according to the kids, were "about average". My chicken sandwich was probably the single most tasteless sandwich I've ever eaten. It was missing most of what was listed on the menu, and just had absolutely no taste, texture or flavour. They never asked how our food was, or we would have told them... All in all, very disappointing.

We arrived at 16.00 hrs and were the only ones in there, we were made to feel very uncomfortable about ordering hot food and one waitress in particular glared at us the whole time we were in there, food was good but felt awkward.

Quite possible the worst cooked breakfast I have ever been served. I ordered the 'Classic' full breakfast. One of everything - one sausage, one piece of black pudding, one egg, one tomato, one mushroom, one piece of bacon (or two very small pieces, I couldn't tell), one hash brown, one portion of 'brown sauce' and one piece of toast. The toast was good. A thick slice of sourdough. The butter for the toast, however, was still frozen - I couldn't cut it until I used force when it shot across the table in two pieces. The tomato was cold, not luke warm, actually cold! It looked to all the world like a tinned tomato but I was assured it was a fresh vine tomato, roasted and peeled. I'll take the waiter's word for it. It was replaced by a scalding hot, recently microwaved (I'm sure) replacement brought out on a separate plate. It was without taste and by now far hotter than anything else on the plate. In fact, too hot to eat. The hash brown was the smallest I have ever seen, less than half the size of the traditional variety. The mushroom was covered in a totally inappropriate herb 'crumb' - in fairness, the menu states as much. The herby crumb, however, simply doesn't fit with the rest of the ingredients. Like sauerkraut with lemon meringue - they just don't mix. The 'brown sauce' was unlike any other brown sauce I have ever tasted or would want to taste again. And all this for a mere £15.50! The waiters were friendly and efficient and I have no gripe with them at all. It is also fair to say that my bill was discounted by 20% as an 'apology'. Will I go back? Tough call!

Lovely place to visit! The food is great, the drinks are all delicious and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful! The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing. I would recommend for visits with friends or dates or family, it’s nice, not loud and very friendly.I even went once more while I was here to get to-go drinks since I liked it a lot the first time.

Was disappointed with the food and service to be honest. Was overpriced and took ages to get served. Had been before quite a while and was excellent so not sure what's happened. Personally I won't be going again. Shame.

This was very disappointing experience. The potato rosti was tasted old and reheated, toast very hard. Asked for sauces which never came and had to ask again which was still late coming. The price was a shock with the service charge on top. Have had much better service and staff that smile. Will not be going back.

Really pleasant location. Nice view from glass sided cafe. Nice decor and welcoming staff. Good breakfast here in June but disappointed last week. Eggs Benedict ,sauce was lumpy and ,not smooth, eggs very runny and avocado under ripe ,Nice bacon.Breakfast, mushrooms had unusual taste and baked beans pale sauce. Won't be returning to pay £45 for the pleasure.

Looking at other reviews, it seems like very slow and inattentive staff is a common trend. Therefore, Daisy & Co should remove the ridiculous service charges they apply on receipts. We waiter for about 10-15 minutes for coffees and had to ask again to get water as staff members were chatting with each other. Bare in mind, it was not busy at all.Strong sides: I have to admit that food presentation is lovely and I love interior design of this cafe. The toilet was super clean and the whole place looks like is really looked after and maintained well.Full English was good, bacon was amazing but fried egg was over cooked. They could add more beans and the meal could have been hotter. For one full English (with extra bacon) and three coffees we paid 33£. My partner though that for extra 3.50£ he was expecting a bit more bacon than given.

Lovely food and the service was brilliant . Waitress Taylor was so helpful and really polite. Recommended something off the menu for us to eat and it was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely lazy brunch on Sunday with friends, after completing the Race for Life. For me the pancakes with bacon, maple syrup and berries are a winner and the carrot juice was yum. The staff were lovely our waiter Taylor was particularly attentive, not overly so, which can be annoying, very smiley, knowledgeable and helpful, thank you. We’ll be back. L&P

We went here for brunch this Saturday and the food was mediocre at best. I think they were trying to be a 'modern fusion' cafe but charging 9 quid for some sauteed mushrooms in a dry burger bun and calling a 'Mushroom Bao bun' is pathetic ! We ordered some 'iced tea' as well which had no tea in it. The Aloo Waffle , harissa flatbread and Full English breakfast was okay and nothing special. The only saving grace was the Banana Bread we ordered for our daughter. All in all wouldnt recommend for the food , enjoy the ambience with a regular cup of coffee/tea or a drink....

We booked which is a real advantage over other similar cafes and were greeted by very friendly and attentive staff and we sat by the glass doors which were opened as it was such a lovely day. The breakfasts were delicious and made with the best quality ingredients and we were also treated to complimentary small croissants which is a really nice touch. The coffee was excellent as were the juices. We would highly recommend this cafe and will be returning on a regular basis.
