It makes me sad to leave this review. City Spice used to be really good: good food, good service and delivery. This has gone downhill over the past 6 months. Delivery now is predicted 1 hour after ordering and arrives 30min late or more consistently. The food has lost some taste (used to love the garlic bread but the garlic is now nowhere to be tasted...)What's happened???? I'd be happy to pay a delivery fee if it makes it a lot better!!!!

Didn't bring my bottle of coke. I phoned up and the man said he can't deliver it back but if I call back he will add it to my next order. I asked are you sure you'll remember "yeah sure, I'll put a note".2 weeks later I make a order and call up and they said they don't remember and they normally add a note and there's no note saying they owe me a drink. So I cancel my order and never going to come back. I've ordered from this place many times before and the fact that they'll loose a customer over a bottle of coke is pretty pathetic and nice one for lying to your customers!!

Place is dirty. Food is left on the floor in buckets and has given a few people I know food poisoning. Would advise to find elsewhere.Already been reported for poor hygiene by someone. Advise either sack staff and replace or just avoid in general.

My usual and regular takeaway order . Chicken tikka biryani’s, chicken tikka saag , takka dall , chips and Garlic nan . Very tasteful . Thank you city chef .

I have eaten all round St. Albans, every curry house and takeaway since the 1970s from the days of the Koh-I-Noor and onward, and all I can say is, this takeaway is right up there for service, and curries. It’s now my option for every takeaway when I fancy a curry, their food is simply superb. I can’t fault it, and I’ve had several since I started using it this year. Highly recommend 10/10

We ordered on-line with fingers crossed after a recent disaster from another takeaway, and a massive thumbs up to City Spice - our meal arrived early, and piping hot. The portions were huge, with plenty of meat rather than filler veg. Very happy customer, and will definitely be ordering again!

Authentic Bangladeshi kitchen at its best that’s what will find at City Spice. The dishes are cooked absolutely perfectly Bangladeshi style. We had three previous orders from city spice and they all been a 10 out of 10. The tandoori dishes are delightful also curries are mouthwatering. Staff at the city Spice are very helpful. Congratulations on a job well done to the team @ city spice.
