Ordered delivery via deliveroo. Soba noodle and Pad Thai too too too salty. Sushi doesn't taste fresh. Soy source awful. If you have to eat their sushi, use your own soy source.

Yesterday I ordered lunch via Deliveroo which arrived hot and in the time frame however thats all the was good, the freshness and quality of food was terrible.Ive never experienced hard chewy rice on sushi rolls before, was like chewing gum texture. The Yakitori chicken was also hard and stringy texture which I can confidently can say from eating alot of Japanese food this food has been sitting around for a while.I called the restuarant and owner didnt accept my concerns about the food and said it was freshly made (clearly not!) and said to raise with Deliveroo however Deliveroo dont look after customer disputes for this restuarant.I would not recommend this restuarant!

Had to wait much longer than expect, but the food was very good.

A great place to stop for fried noodle dishes before going to the cinema. Definitely on my list to return to.

Used to be my favourite St Albans restaurant but went back recently and was just dreadful. Sushi hand roll was dry and the seaweed weirdly chewy. Small portions. Felt rubbish value even with 30% off on a Monday. The place was completely empty which should have been a clue. Absolutely gutted.

Really poor taste - ordered crispy chicken pad Thai- no greens or nuts as advertised- it was just sweet. Took a few bites and binned the rest. Will not return.

My experience was really nice. The dining area is really tidy and clean. Food is delicious and the owner is really friendly and quick. I'll come back for sure.

My favourite place to get food in St.Albans. The masamun curry is delish and the starters are all super yummy.Vegetarian options: Wide range of veggie options - I am veggie and eat here often

No. This is not correct. the menu and photos give impression of Wagamama's style food and menu. What you actually get served and in absolute truth is a pile of chewy, old hard, dried out, flavourless basmati rice (not Japanese rice) likely cooked days ago, some carrots pre cooked that have been sitting in a tub for a week in a cold fridge gone all weird and old and spongy and dried out and ugly. A sauce that if you could go any less than the supermarket super saver cheapest oriental sauce maybe 20p go less than that...on what ever kind of meat or fish they serve. I recalled likely trying to cook food for the first time back in the 90's when i couldn't actually cook and was a student....or some back street cafe in the 80's... it's like that. This is not food anyone should pay for. You will enjoy your self more going to gregs and getting a sausage roll and a can of coke. (i'm really not kidding). You will not get served what is on the menu, it will not be the quality or look or taste they are representing on their menu, nothing is fresh, it does not taste nice, if you want a throw back to the 70's/80's and canned food on a plate....that is what you'll get. You'll get charged a restaurant price but you'll (and this is no embellishment) get served something a 10 year old tries to cook and call it oriental food but on a budget and has never ever cooked before. Go to tesco and have a meal deal you'll enjoy the experience more....that is how bad the food is...the food was the worst thing I have ever had in a paid establishment....ever....i don't want folks to waist their money - though go try it out for your self. perhaps when you go they have a budget and a chef. Good luck.

No staff apparently to give taste card discount. Pay full price because no staff. Not sure how that makes any sense at all. AVOID!
