“First visit, had fried egg on toast. My companion forgot I only eat brown bread but the staff were very happy to sort our mistake. Lovely staff and very friendly atmosphere. Food was prefect, hot and I surprised to get 3 eggs most places only give you one on each slice of toast. Will visit again.”

“Iv been using this cafe nearly a year, probably go in there two or three times a week and we meet up with other friends on Thursdays I found the staff very friendly very helpful, the food is excellent. The coffee is fantastic, The boss is football mad, and we have great crack even though I don’t support his team,!! There is a good atmosphere in this cafe. I would recommend anyone in the town centre Stevenage, to pop into the Mad Hatter ,, Just recently they’ve been doing cheesecake’s My favourite is the strawberry, but there are other brands also.I have been reading the reviews, there is only one bad review, and that person to me is very vindictive to the staff and the cafe. Me and my good friend Jeff always feel welcome there .The staff are always friendly helpful and talkative. I would recommend this. Coffee shop, 100%..”

“Popped in for a breakfast, for the first time today. Busy with lots of regulars (always the sign of a good local cafe).10/10. Service is quick and attentive. Felt very welcome. Food was top notch. Best breakfast we’ve ever had. Cooked perfectly and everything was piping hot and spot on. Only thing I’d change is the marg on the toast. I prefer a really good butter or spread, but that’s just personal preference ??. See ya soon!!”
