Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Food was good and staff friendly and helpful as always. Shame the restaurant is closing as a Harvester on 25th. We will miss it but we will try the new restaurant (Miller and Harding is it?), when it opens end of May. Pleased to hear that the staff are being retained, as they have always been excellent.

Ordered a treacle pudding and it had a shard of sharp plastic inside, which I pulled out of my mouth as I was eating it. Could have done some serious damage.

Food and service were good. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Prices reasonable.I would like to see some healthier options on the Dessert menu, for example Fresh Fruit Skewers, which you used to have quite a few years

Meal lovely, service good from our waiter. Only downside was they closed early on 16th August & there was no mention of this on the internet when husband booked. This meant that we had to order our desert quickly & were also treated to the noise of the kitchen floor cleaner ?Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to park in wheelchair parking

Boxing day 2023 dinner for five was excellent. Seated early, food hot, tasty and well presented. Service excellent by our server Agnes ??Have heard that this restaurant is to close and be replaced by a Miller & Carter steakhouse. Bad move both restaurants owned by Mitchel & Butlers who think they can charge more for the same food. Bad move it will fall flat on its faceParking: Close, convenient and safe

The food was especially good. There was a blonde young lady at the hatch where the food is usually left for ages, but she was on the ball, making sure everything was correct on the plate and was being served straight away.Absolutely amazing well that young lady.
Don't believe Anything the manager tells you. He invited the whole family back for a free meal. Because we had a poor experience there were 8 of us.when we rebooked there were 9 of us so only an extra child we were happy to pay for the extra child but when they presented us with the bill. Clearly not free!!
