I used to love this place until one day o decided to walk down the back road of the old town and saw kitchen staff at Misya (door wide open) pee into the kitchen sink. As soon as he saw me he zipped up. I will never eat here ever again.

Delicious place with incredible Turkish hospitality!We came to Stevenage for another event and found this place when looking for something to eat - we have been to many Turkish restaurants so it had a lot to compete with but we were still left impressed by the delicious food, ambiance, decor, service and again, hospitality.They were very kind and courteous; my children were very happy with the treats they gave them :)Kid-friendliness: Very nice to my children and gave them a little treat

Friday evening, table for 5 (pre-booked)Wonderful selection all things kebab, meze and other dishes.Friendly, helpful staffFood was well prepared, presented and tasted abslutely delicious.Portions can be quite large but 'doggie bags' available

Misya is our go to restaurant for special occasions but we were very disappointed with our last visit. The first thing anyone said to us was that we'd need to be out by 19:30, and although our booking was a set time, I didn't feel there was a need to mention this as the first thing that was said to us. We just felt rushed.Throughout our visit our waitress didn't look happy to be there, constantly huffing and puffing and she barged into my wife (while she was seated) about 6 times every time she passed her. Enough that my wife would jolt. I get it's a small environment, but not even an apology each time it happened, and surely you'd be more careful after the first time?We mentioned to the guy who welcomes people in and out on the way out and he just said "oh sorry". I also left them an email last week with my concerns but currently no reply.

The food was incredible! It's very rare that a restaurant hits the trifecta of quality, quantity and price. This restaurant has huge portions (perhaps too big) for £17-22 and the taste is superb!The servers are really polite and on point making the hole experience feel even better.The only negative thing I can say is that I wish that the table for 2 was slightly larger but I understand that then they wouln't be able to fit as many in the limited space available.
