Sadly I won't be visiting again. It was a Sunday- roast day - they were reasonably busy but they had run out of onions, mushrooms, strawberries and other items. Yes they had a failed delivery but what about popping to the shop? The staff are very nicehowever I cannot give a higher rating with the food situation. Also the choice of starters was limited and further so by no mushrooms.

Mixed grill was quite poor .Cheap frozen tasteless chicken breast , sausage was terrible' again cheap with loads of herbs to try and disguise the fact it had virtually no meat content .No salad or mushrooms which I believe us a given on a mixed grill .Anaemic looking with no colour.Altogether a little disappointing.

This is a good pub, nice atmosphere, staff are great and for a Hungry Horse pub, the food is actually quite good. I've been a few times, its easy to order at the bar or via the app. Just a great little local pub.

Probally the worst meal I’ve eaten. Our sharing Starter was missing nachos, not a great problem but when asked they simply said, “ah yea we ran out” and that was that.Literally I’m sure everything goes into the deep fryer and just cooked in the hot oil.My expectations weren’t that high to start with (being a chain pub etc) but this was honestly lower than a snakes belly.Mains came out after just over an hour and thirty minutes wait. Again no real issue. Untill the dj started playing.Mains was the burger sizzler, sounds lovely on the menu, again don’t bother. According to the menu the steak that came with the burger was due to be prepared in a cast iron dish which was ment to sizzling with onions and peppers, nope the steak was just cold laying there in a cold pile of frozen onions and vegetables.Another person at the table had a breaded chicken sandwich - menu stated it was with red onions which is fine as she can’t eat normal white onions due to an allergy - but guess what it came out with, yep white onion. So that was a waste of time.No beef dripping sauce came out - guess they ran out and didn’t bother telling us.It was honestly so bad we left the desserts we’ve orderd and hastily retreated to the cars walking out to the thumping music the dj was playing.Lesson learnt

Just had family meal here. Really recommend. Was super tasty. My kid enjoyed his pizza and drink, mum enjoyed her cheese fries. I loved my quadrilla burger.Beer was nice and cold, and wife said she liked her wine. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming.Kid-friendliness: Few £1 machines to treat kids. Plenty space for a buggy

We have just got in after having a fabulous Christmas lunch with you. The food was delicious and the service was superb. Considering how busy you were the food was hot and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful and parcelled up our spare meal for us to bring home. Lovely occasion. Thanks very much.

First time here. Me and my partner had the 12oz rump steak which was fantastic and the portion of chips were also huge. Big shout out to the staff, fantastic service and we will definitely be back

We Went for our works do, We had the Christmas's Menu,22 of us at 7:30 pm. The food came out all four choices at the same time, so no one was kept waiting. This was the case on all 3 courses. The food portions were big and some of us struggled to eat it all.So fantastic speedy service lovely staff would definitely book here again.

Has always been a good value spot to eat but the food quality has really gone up in the last 6 months or so, almost always guaranteed a decent meal in here now.

Excellent value when you are on a budget. 3 adult mains, bottle of wine and glass (small) for £40. Went on a Wednesday when you get a bottle of wine for £7.99 and a curry and drink for £7. Large pub...so lots of seating. Lots of parking. Shame that the person taking food orders also does your drinks, so be prepared to queue to place your food order.
