I’ve been twice when visiting from Suffolk. I’d recommend wholeheartedly. Tasty, large meals, inexpensive and quick. Polite and no nonsense. The Xmas meal was excellent. English breakfast classic. Go there. Don’t bother with a flash place. Get a newspaper, sup a tea and delight your eye and tummy. Really!

Not a place I'd recommend if you were vegetarian (for breakfast) unless you are happy with egg on toast. The food was nice. The toast was a bit hard for me (didn't stop me finishing it though). I wish I could substitute more stuff so had to settle with some items.The service was good. Even offered us some jam/marmite to finish our toast off.Overall, a pleasant visit.Vegetarian options: Didn't feel there was much available
