Friendly staff and choice of food is good. Food itself was just ok, the onion rings very greasy and the chips not very crispy, rather limp. Excellent all you can eat salad bar. Prices a bit more expensive than other local venues.

This Harvester has never failed for good food! Even when busy! Always served by Sarah I believe her name is, and she is always so welcoming too! More than likely visit again. Very good place! And also left in a food coma!

Disappointing. Several menu items not available including limited vegan options. Mixed grills came up missing items, no pre warning. Medium rare steak came up rare \\u0026 sausages appeared undercooked as very soft \\u0026 mushy. On the plus side, the waitress was very pleasant \\u0026 smiley.

Went for breakfast. Everything arrived apart from the eggs (which we were assured would follow soon). The wife finish her food before her eggs arrived. Even eating mine as slow as I did, I was pretty much left with just toast and eggs. No real intervention by the manager to explain the crazy delay - just an apologetic waitress. No offer of a free drink or discount either by way of apology either. Only reason for the 3 stars instead of 1 is the quality of food was actually really good.

Seated and served quickly, and the food portions are very generous, we all enjoyed our meal/dessert. There were little to no covid related restrictions, so we found that a little uncomfortable, and the ladies toilets need a lot of work - black mould near hand dryers, cracks and tiles falling off walls, toilets themselves in poor condition. When being served salad the lady was giving such small portions (literally 4 pieces of pineapple) we had to keep asking for a little more (you can't serve yourself anymore due to covid). We did enjoy our meal and our waitress was delightful, so for that, we would go again, but we would definitely swerve those awful toilets!

Bit different after the pandemic, salads are served by their staff, bread rolls were very dry. Staff was very friendly and professional, food was great for the friendly price but I did send the mojito cocktail back as glass was dirty and had red markings inside it.\\nWe chose the starter tapas, chicken wings, sweetcorn ribs \\u0026 prawns serving time was great not too long a wait. Flatbread was great too can't fault them.

my girlfriend and I had dinner here this evening. courteous, friendly staff and the food was great ?\\n\\nI had mixed grill and the steak was just how I asked for it and my girlfriend had the rump steak which was just how she asked for.\\n\\nI had the Rocky horror desert and my girlfriend had the waffle with ice cream and couldn't fault it at all, very tasty. The buttons on my shirt were being tested by the time we left!!! ?\\n\\nI didn't get the young ladies name that was serving us, but she couldn't of been more polite and friendly if she tried. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were OK, had everything we needed and were happy, without being intrusive.\\n\\nA great visit and would happily visit again

Standard Harvester fare. The service was a little slow, seemed to be a bit understaffed. Took a while for us to be seated as the ?manager who seated the family in front of us was then clearing tables and taking orders from other tables. The bowls for the salad bar were empty for a while despite several people mentioning this to the staff

Came for a meal this evening and was really disappointed with the food. The food wasn't hot when served and wasnt fresh. The corn on the cob was the size you would give to a toddler. The restaurant has been decorated to a high standard and the staff are friendly but the food was really disappointing. We came for breakfast a while back and the quality was just the same. I'd suggest Maybe spend more in educating the kitchen staff and on food quality then the appearance of the restaurant as you will loose a lot of custom. We used to love the harvester but very much doubt we will dine here again

I've been to this Harvester three times now. Each time it's been slightly worse. They don't sweep or hoover carpets throughout the day. So if you happen to sit at a table that has kids you will be trampling on peas, chips, carrots and all sorts. Another thing that really annoys me, the bowls for the salad are ALWAYS dirty. The last time we went they were still dripping wet too, very unhygienic!
As a previous post stated 'Harvester is always a bit hit and miss'. Due to this I'll probably try it again. It's a real shame as what it boils down too... bad management!
