First time using here, the other reviews are good so popped in for lunchtime cod & chips.Sadly very disappointed it was Luke warm, soggy really unappetising.Maybe I was just unlucky as all the over reviews are fantastic, the service was really good though.** Thank you William, I will try another fish supper as by the previous review’s you serve very good food. Maybe I just went in on a lunchtime where there was a problem. As previously said the service was 5* & the shop was very clean.

W J Rowe, or more commonly Rowe's, is a superb Fish and Chip shop with a good selection of Fish, Pies, Sausages, etc. Mushy Peas can be obtained plain or with mint sauce (recommended). Staff are friendly and helpful. Can get busy at times (Friday evening for example) so pick your moment to check it out.
