Amazing cafe: great range of generously sized cakes, friendly staff, loyalty card scheme, and a lovely initiative in which you can pay for a meal or drink in advance, then leave the receipt on a board for someone in need to come along and claim for free. There's a good selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options too.

This is attached to an established local independent book and music shop making the atmosphere very relaxed. Unlike most cafes, the staff bring everything to your table so there's no tray juggling with your shopping. The food is great, fresh, tasty, and a varied choice. Locally produced soft drinks and really good coffee.

In this economic climate, it is so difficult for shop ownersThey cater for gluten-free with their cakes, which seem to be homemade and are delicious. My guilty pleasure ?Their cappuccino ☕️ is also one of the best ?
