This is a great petrol station that is always well-maintained and clean. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the prices are competitive. I especially appreciate the Waitrose partnership, which allows me to grab a quick snack or drink while I'm filling up my car. Overall, this is a great place to stop for gas and a bite to eat.

Don't use this petrol station if you just want to do something silly like full your car there is an old white woman who works there who's life must be so dull she makes a drama out of everything she switches pumps off when people fill up petrol cans while shouting over the tannoy it's illegal and she also does the same with motorbikes best off going else where

Hand wash pressure washer never working past year, all the small or big citys has hand wash are working especially esso and shell other supermarket, its essential to locals, you have all the big space and locals are willing to spend! hope they seriously get this sorted and make the machine contact less payment like other places, rather than go inside get the voucher. Put the price up we don't mind at all!, atleast fix the pressure washer so it's working all year round.I see all other towns handwash are always busy and working fully working when i visit friends in north london. Locals are fed up this shell in wgc, very lazy unprofessional branch by the owner! Shell Stirling corner barnet rd best is the most tidy and fully working branch I've been too.headoffice area managers needs to visit wgc and see and listen to customer's inspect the branch. Check why the handwash has not been fixed past year, when will they fix this?

I wanted to fill up my motorbike but they didn't allow, until I removed my helmet, I wearing flip up helmet so they clearly seen my face with that helmet as well. No difference with a simple hat if I wear. I was asking them what about muslim's burqa ??? Off course they didn't know any explanation. No execuse or sorry !!!! So simple discrimination. I never go there to fill up my bike again.

Can you please explain to me why I just observed a member of staff using his mouth to blow away crumbs on the hot food section? Literally blowing over uncovered hot food at your Stanborough Road branch in Welwyn Garden City?
Absolutely disgusting and I did confront him. After a lecture from me about basic food hygiene practices and infection control he admitted it was the wrong thing to do. We’ve just got over the worst of a pandemic and about to enter flu season let alone the potential spread of tuberculosis, monkeypox or other infections.
I have already complained about the disgusting toilet facilities at this branch to be told that there’s nothing they can do due to the high volume of users. It’s evident that even a basic daily clean is not being done. And now to witness staff blowing over food I was about to purchase and have purchased in the past shows a total disregard for basic customer wellbeing and safety.

I have been an assiduous and regular customer at this station for a few months. The "pay at the pump" feature never worked, the staff is rude and they do not seem to know how to use their payment system.Their card reader seldom works, leading to multiple payment attempts having to be made, with the consequent waste of time for the customer.Once when paying with card, the contactless reader didn't work, so the cashier asked me to insert the card and use the PIN. I did that and got confirmation on the reader. A few days later, the guy claimed that I didn't pay, whilst to the best of my knowledge, it was all good. Very embarassing and weirdly behaving staff. I won't set foot there ever again. Stay away.
Hi. Will the jetwash be fixed anytime soon?I have always used this station for fuel and jetwash,but many times the jetwash is not working. For the last few weeks jetwash is out of order,only the carwash available.Thanks.

Absolute rip off merchants. Used to be my regular station, but during the truck driver shortages they upper their prices by around 4-5p a litre and have conveniently forgotten to put them back down. I can consistently get better prices by going just a mile or two down the road. I never fill up here any more.

Petrol station. Has some good convienience foods (like frozen Cook range). No more to add. If you want a car wash it's highly likely you will be disappointed as its broken more times than its working

Just had the terrible service at Shell. i would score 0 Stars but not an option! Shell want you to use them send a discount voucher via app. You fill up over £70 and then don't let you use voucher via app. When I asked Manager Hassan why? Hi reply was contact shell this is nothing to do with us. Terrible service. Wont use again
