I have just moved to the area and couldn't wait to try Katies !! I have tried the other bakery in the village which i didn't rate (its very commercial and the baked pastries don't have enough filling or are dry and not fresh). I finally had the chance to visit Katies and her bakes are fabulous. Everything i've had from Katies has been wonderful and fresh and flavoursome. The Cakes, bread and pastries are all divine. Most of the time she's sold out. So get there early !! Which is a great sign of a great bakery, I now visit every week. Thank you !!!

Poor selection of filled rolls and no hot favourites, ie, sausage rolls or pasties around lunchtime hours on a Wednesday, plus rock hard stale cakes, which we ended up throwing away. Very disappointing for a bakers who obviously have competition in the same high street. It is such a shame, as their bread is actually quite nice but the rest of our experience today has put us off ever going back.
