Just what it says on the tin - a shoreside cafe with a selection of food, ices and drinks to be enjoyed overlooking the sea. Due to the hot weather, a number if ices had run out, therefore they need to restock, so customers can enjoy the last of this summer's hot weather.

What a nice place to eat and sit, and watch the world and ships go by. The coffee is great and the bacon and Egg Sandwich are lovely , the only down side is no toilets.

Our go to place when catching the ferry home from Cowes. The breakfasts and the breakfast rolls are very good and value for money. Just a shame that the weather wasn’t very good when we were there. The grandchildren did enjoy the playground next door whilst we were waiting.

Prompt food service. Generous portions, food is excellent. Location is everything, lovely views out over the Solent. Lots to watch, car ferries, yachts, dinghy sailing.

Although we miss Jane and Eric, Isu and her team are doing a superb job. We go there most days to meet up with our many friends who are regulars. The new coffee machine has improved the quality of the coffee and, contrary to some reports, the prices are exactly the same as before. The weather this year isn't helping so let's hope for an Indian Summer. The food is great, as it always was, and Isu and the staff are very friendly and always ready to help if you have any questions. Isu clearly undersatnds the East Cowes market and will only go form strength to strength in the future. Well done, Isu and the team.

I’ve just moved back to the island and decided to re visit this old place and wow! What a great transformation. The new owners are really friendly and welcoming. Great food and great value.

Had a couple of hours to kill before catching the ferry so took a little stroll along the seafront and came across this little cafe. Grabbed some hot drinks to take whilst we had a walk. Obviously had just opened at this point and was busy but still served quickly. On the way back we stopped for some lunch. Had a good choice of snacks to choose from. We were served quickly and the food arrived in good time. The food was really nice and the bread used was fresh. Would definitely recommend a visit.

New people have taken over the business. Really missing the previous owners. Prices have gone up, hot drinks now in disposable cups. A couple of times that I’ve tried visiting they only had cold food as options to eat. Smaller portions of ice cream.

Really wonderful. The owners are lovely and it's a great place to watch the cruise ships go past. Try the ploughman's, it's lovely.Still absolutely wonderful and the new owners are a delight. I asked if they had black pudding and they said 'not yet' so hopefully that'll be an optional extra in the future!Absolutely rammed down there this morning but still service with a smile.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of veggie optionsKid-friendliness: There's a huge play area right next door so incredibly kid friendly. I imagine they'll carry on with the magician and punch and Judy on Mondays in high season. David Randini, island institutionParking: There's normally plenty of spots on the esplanade and there's a free council car park a short walk away.Dietary restrictions: Just ask, they can handle any dietary restrictions.

What a fab lil stop at the seafront! The food is very reasonably priced, the staff are very friendly and the general atmosphere of this place is just nicely chilled and the food is great. (public toilets about 100m away in the park =good excuse to have another drink ?)
