We've stayed here a few times now. It's a lovely place in an amazing setting. So peaceful, with walks and beaches on the doorstep. The cottages are lovely with loads of space. Big thanks to the staff for being super helpful and friendly.
We loved our visit. The guides were really knowledgeable and passionate about their work. They were also great storytellers that brought the poets' story to live. Though I'm personally not a fan of audio guides (I read much faster), I was glad that most of the information was also to be found in leaflets in the rooms. The interior was absolutely stunning, especially all the replications of the wallpaper, curtains and rugs, and there were also some original pieces from the house....read full review
We stayed in the self catering stables for a 4 night stay. The accommodation is lively, great size and very clean. The estate is in a perfect location for local attractions and is in thr most beautiful spot. The grounds and wall garden are so beautiful, peaceful and full of wildlife. We will definately be staying here again and would like to Tha ks the staff for a lovely welcome.
