DELISH!!!!

Not a great service, not justifiable for the price paid. Fries looked to be cooked in oil used for cooking fish and had a flavour of that. Inside and outside seating available. Minimum card spend is £5 and no amex card accepted

This cafe was very disappointing. I ordered a 4oz cheeseburger and chips (with cheese on for 60p extra) and two coffees for £2.30 each. what I got was two little cups of hot water with a bit of foam on top. I took them back and she made another one (using a small machine with lots of buttons, like black, white, latte, mocha etc, not an actual coffee machine) and it tasted equally as bad. I then asked for two pepsi's 'worth' £2 each instead and again got two very small cups with pepsi in, at least they tasted ok. (Btw I didnt even get offered the 60p difference back!) When the food turned up, which was actually a decently short wait, I got what may aswell well have been a slice of ham with a little grated cheese on top and a bit of surprisingly fresh looking salad in the middle of a bun. I went in to ask for some tomato sauce for my chips and was told they were 15p a satchet! No thanks!Overall awful coffee, food wasnt great but at least the salad was fresh and bad, stingy, pricing. Would Not Recommend.

Sad to say that this cafe was a real disappointment. Poor menu, especially for the kids. No kids sandwiches for example. It seemed really overpriced for what you actually got & the staff didn’t appear very interested or helpful. Don’t like leaving bad reviews but this was one of them.

We held my sons birthday party at Amazon world and the cafe were brilliant catering hot food for the children, decorating the cafe, setting up tables, party bags, pass the parcel.. children and adults alike loved the whole day, thank you so much!

There is something not 'right' about this place. I have seen reviews elsewhere and people have said that they felt sorry for the animals. I couldn't agree more. The enclosures seem so very small. Extortionate entrance fee compared to other things you can do on the IOW. We also left the 'cafe' before ordering food because everyone else looked so miserable and the food they had looked awful. If I was you AVOID!

This may only be a small zoo but it is a good one. There is plenty to see and even an adventure play area to give the kids a chance to burn off energy if they want a break. There is a lovely tropical house with lots of beautiful birds and animals and then you can wander round outside to see the penguins, the ocelot, tapir, lemurs and many more animals. There is a coffee shop to give frazzled parents a rest, a decent picnic area and so nice gift shops. All in all a lovely day out.

I really enjoyed going to Amazon World in Isle of Wight. Firstly when you arrive there, its is definitely got a Amazon style with its aztec looking statues, etc. When you want in you get to see all sort of animals and throughout the part there are refreshments cafes where there are some really nice light meals and drinks on offer. It does take a while to get there if you don't have a car but there are several buses that run throughout the day which will take you directly to the main towns and to the amazon world.

Amazon World is billed as the Largest Exotic Animal Attraction on the Isle of Wight. Given the size of the Isle of Wight this doesn't exactly mean much though. This winner of the Isle of Wight's Top Tourist Attraction then goes on to profess that you can learn about conservation and the rainforest whilst viewing some of the most beautiful and endangered creatures. I'm worried that there's no real statement about conserving those animals, least not in the big tourist-aimed posters and leaflets that are displayed around the island. The zoo puts on various displays throughout the day from meet the animals to a falconry display. We saw both of these and they were well managed and of a suitable length for smaller children - possibly the most positive part of the visit. Refreshments were available in a café and the food, although not tested, looked basic but wholesome. Prices were reasonable and portions looked fair. The toilets were situated next to the café. These were clean and, like many attractions, one could have benefited had more been provided. As an attraction that can be visited in poor weather, much of it being inside, I might be tempted back to Amazon World. However, I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. I found my toddler became restless and found more interest in the plastic curtains between the areas than in the exhibits themselves. As an adult I was rather bored by the whole affair, there being too many of the same thing and too little interest. School parties compounded the issue. Exhibits were poorly displayed behind dirty and reflective glass. I imagine that 5-8 year olds might be the best served by this attraction.
