Great location but food took a long time, table wasn't cleared from previous diners even when our food arrived, my burger was over priced and had no cheese as described,rum and coke was flat couldn't taste the rum. Outdoor area potentially dangerous for children.

AVOID....... If I can give 0 stars, I would. Get ready to get your bump punctured by pieces of wood from the broken benches. Nail that sticks out of your table. Where on at least 3 tables I ve looked at, most of them broken. They where the only one available. Others that looked OK had the reservation signs on but no one turned up while we where there. Bean with the kids, had to watch them on every step they made to not get injured while sitting down and waiting for our lunch. Food..... 2 STARS. If you like grilled sardines with guts, this is the place. On they're menu, Hall sardines means scales, guts and everything "blash" I personally and other people who left reviews about that, would probably understand that they have heads on, not guts, scales and everything.

Tried here as was in a lovely location and I was intrigued by the claim of it being the only beach bar on the island.There were four of us (2 adults, 2kids). Choice of food looked good however prices were steep to say the least. However this made us think it would be good. Was told after we placed the order it would be 40 min wait. Food arrived on time but the plates for the kids food where extremely hot, we were not warned so only found out by the kids touching them. The food was ok but certainly not worth the price. Also items missing (ie mushrooms from the chicken kabab). As a previous reviewer said, would go there for a drink and the view, but not the food. Also toilet set up was not very nice, having to ask at the bar for a key and sharing it with old junk from the bar.

Great view, but not impressed by the place itself.Staff refused to take our food order, because we didn't know the table number (which was barely visible, so we naturally assumed they didn't *have* table numbers). We told them it was the last table on the left-hand side, of which there is only one – so how hard can it be to look at a seating plan, and say "Ah, right, that's table number 7; no problem"?Also, the price of one of the drinks didn't match what it said on the menu, suggesting the menu is out of date.

Terrible. The menu promises good food, however what was delivered was awful. The ingredients were cheap and poorly cooked. Service was shockingly slow. Children’s fish and chips, with no option of peas, adult fish and chips barely any bigger than child’s portion. Children’s sausage, egg and jacket potato - cheap sausage, burnt egg, and a hard jacket potato. Staff highly put out when I asked for cheese on the jacket potato. I had the crab salad, which was awful value for money. Bagged salad, supermarket coleslaw, cheap bread roll, and crab meat which had more shell than meat. The service was shocking. Not one member of staff smiled. When I went to the bar to order, no one greeted me, they just seemed put out at having to actually do something other than stand around and chat. This restaurant is taking full advantage of being in a prime location, servicing up shocking, substandard food at ridiculous prices. Avoid avoid avoid.

This restaurant was a absolute mess,the waiters were so disrespectful and racist.The sardines which l ordered were unclean and smelled. When l went to complain about it,The manager and staff said l should know how to read the menu is English and said that the ‘’whole sardine’’ ‘’that means comes with sh!t without being cleaned I asked and they said in UK we eat like that this fish you should know that,honestly I been in many places and countries but I never had a situation like this with rude people. I’m still disgusted with this place so dirty even our burger was with hair.Please don’t go there if you want your life they are dangerous from the way they working this place my daughter she is vomiting since when we left from there till now 00:27am.

The beach front location seems to mean they have a captive audience so don't care about customer service at all. Bar staff were unbelievably rude. The food was fine but the experience was ruined for us. So unnecessary. Avoid. Zero stars.
We popped in to this establishment as its pretty much the only place to go in Sandown and we were so deeply disappointed with everything! We only ordered chips, cheesy chips and two drinks because we thought you can't really get that wrong. How wrong were we! The prices are absolutely extortionate but the quality of the food was awful. It all tasted like it was microwaved. Chips!The venue it's self is run down, the bar area is very messy and the atmosphere is very off.I would seriously consider driving somewhere else if you're in the area and hungry.

We popped in here when passing as it was in a great location overlooking Sandown Bay. The staff all looked like they'd rather be anywhere else than there and the food was mediocre at best - such a shame as it has a lot of potential to be a great place to eat. The prices were on par with what you would spend in a nice country pub - they do offer a discount for paying cash (!) which softens the blow slightly but not enough to make us return.

Terrible service received, attended on a hot summers day to enjoy a drink & when I requested some hot water (they serve hot drinks) for my baby's formula they refused curtly to provide any. The person serving refused to elaborate on this any further so I left without making any purchases. Shockingly bad customer service! Avoid!
