Ordered King Prawns but was not King Prawn. Small with shell still on tail. Small portion, mushroom bhaji main half full.When we went to restaurant was nice but would not recommend takeaway.

Went there with 6 others on a Sunday evening. We were the only ones dining, but perhaps not unexpected for a Sunday. Turned out all 7 of us were vegetarian, so many of us ordered paneer. This restaurant CANNOT make paneer. It was lumps of melted cheddar, which is the wrong flavour to go with the Indian flavours of the dish. Wasn't horrendous enough to complain, but we certainly wont be returning.Vegetarian options: If you're vegetarian, then paneer is your likely choice for a main course. DO NOT ORDER THE PANEER. It was not paneer, it was cheddar cheese. YUK!

Just had a great meal at Eastern Eye. The food was so amazing, loads of choice, staff very friendly, great value for money. Highly recommended!
It was my brother’s birthday and we were visiting our granddaughters on Isle of Wight. We stayed at The Wight who offered a discount at the Eastern Eye and in line booking was easy. It was around a 5 minute walk, from the hotel, the staff were great and polite, the food was wonderful and lots of different dishes. My brother had one of the best birthdays ever. Would certainly recommend this resturant for the food and excellent staff service.

Have never been disappointed with the food here, we moved from Sandown to Ryde and we still use Eastern Eye for our curry's. We have dined-in once (we usually take away) and we had a lovely meal. Friendly staff always welcome me at the door, good prices and great food. Not had a bad meal here.I Highly recommend!

Called in tonight after a long day. We ordered a set meal for 2 to takeaway. The service was lovely and they changed one of the mains for us. We sat and had a beer whilst we waited and the atmosphere was very nice. All the food dishes were lovely and plentiful. Would recommend for either takeaway or dining. Restaurant atmosphere very relaxed.

Whilst on holiday in Sandown we found this restaurant on TripAdvisor. One of deciding factors on choosing this place, apart from the great reviews, was that the owner responded to all reviews which showed me he had a passion for what he did. Due to the weather being bad we ordered a takeaway and went to collect it ourselves. We met the owner in the restaurant who was very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding so fresh and tasty. We ordered a mixture of dishes which were all delicious so i couldn't choose my favourite. One of the best indian takeaways we have had for a very long time. Thank you and keep up the good work guys.
