We decided to go here for a change as usually we walk to Shanklin for a carvery. We managed to book a table for 3 of us at very short notice. When we got there we were seated very quickly. As soon as we went up to the carvery you could see that the food looked lovely and fresh. There was pork, turkey and 2 choices of beef. The server was very happy in his work and made us feel really welcome and appreciated us chatting to him. The portions of meat were very generous and a great selection of vegetables. This was the best carvery we've ever had and will definitely be back.

Lovely view over the sea. A limited but tasty menu. The chicken salad with new potatoes was good and the sticky toffee pudding excellent.

Great food and great staff. The whole family enjoyed themselves. Baby changing table is located behind the first stall of the women's. You can conveniently call staff via a table button - something you need to teach kids not to play with! I ordered their last seafood linguine which was delicious, the variety of seafood wasn't a lot but the crab and lobster bisque was on point. Would highly recommend.

Not a great experience, service was hit and miss, not just for us but for several tables around us, once dinner did arrive it was very average, the plates seemed to be bulked out with chips and salad to give the impression of good value for money due to a large portion size plate. I would not go back here again.

The location is fantastic to enjoy the sea view and have a pint or some food. They have a lovely outside sitting space and inside as well. The staff are friendly. We ordered battered fish and chips and one wide a side of salad instead of chips. Lovely fresh food.

Popped in for lunch with my brother and elderly Mum. The service was excellent and their was a reasonable choice on the menu. We all had sandwiches of varying types and each one was well presented and rather tasty. Their is a fantastic sea view to enjoy whilst dining and would definitely go again.

The Ocean Deck is an amazing sea front bar restaurant in Sandown. We popped in looking to have some lunch and saw the Sunday roast on the menu. We didn't have a booking but the staff were quick to seat us down on a table that was reserved later for patrons. What can I say the roast was out of this world, the meats were super soft and flaked at the touch of your knife. The chef was great asking me if I wanted more pork making sure that I left him with a satisfying plate. Yorkshire puddings were nice, cauliflower cheese was sublime, the veg cooked to perfection my partner and I were amazed at what we got for what we paid, washed down with 2 pints of cider and my other half had 2 gin and sodas total.....£40 money well spent in an atmosphere which made you feel at home. There was no rushing to get you out was a great experience. The hostesses were super friendly and very efficient at managing orders. Well done team. Thankyou for an amazing experience looking forward to my next trip and lunch.

On a nice trip to the Island. My partner and myself saw this lovely looking beach front restaurant and read the information and menu board outside. I noted that the notice clearly stated that food was served until 9pm. We planned our evening to attend the restaurant for dinner. We arrived at 8.15pm and were shocked and disappointed to be told by staff that the kitchen had closed at 8pm.Get the basics right before more more potential customers are disappointed.
