The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends this restaurant! If you ever find yourself on the Isle of Wight (doesn’t matter where), you should definitely make a point to eat here. It was so nice we went twice! Both visits were amazing. The outside of the restaurant is very unassuming, but once you walk in you are greeted by a clean, modern oasis. Great location right along the beach in Sandown. Not too many tables which gives it a more intimate feel. Great menu selection with creative yet familiar daily specials. The chicken sandwich was the best sandwich we had on the IOW! Perfectly seasoned with a great kick to it and the chicken was juicy. I would like to say that our daughter is a noodle sommelier, and the kids tagliatelle was one of her all time favorite pasta dishes! The drinks were also fantastic. The salted caramel espresso martini was the highlight of our visit. Sweet and strong. Absolutely perfect. Shout out to Josh for the impeccable service. He was very welcoming and attentive, and great with our toddler. Thank you for making this a memorable experience!

Had a really good lunch here with our 2 grandchildren. Sat on the terrace with a great view of the beach, service was friendly and quick. The food was excellent, pizza, loaded fries and burger.Well worth stopping for a drink or food.Food & drinks: Good selection of food and drinks

The Reef had a warm friendly atmosphere and good menu and wines list. We have a very convivial evening, with friendly service and the bill was very reasonable for the quality of food.

Very overpriced for what I had. The following day two of us were sick and unwell for a good few days. Not great service either.

A nice pub in a lovely spot. We actually got a takeaway for the beach. But they made a real effort to make it look nice in a pizza box. It was a fry up with all the bits in. We all loved it. Food was really tasty and perfectly cooked.

We just had an amazing meal at The Reef at Sandown and I have to say it was one of the few place left on the Island who can deliver fresh and well cooked and presented food. The whole diner experience was outstanding with Josh and the rest of the crew. Me and my wife are definitely going to be coming back soon to enjoy more of this amazing establishment.

We were a party of 3 visiting the restaurant. It was absolutely boiling inside. We were not offered any fans or water refills. The salmon curry was not curry, the pumpkin pasta dish was decent. Fish and chips was also not too bad. Probably wouldn't visit again though.

We ate at the Reef Thursday 7th September.The service and food was amazing and we will definitely go back next time in Sandown.We were looked after by Lauren who was very pleasant and attentive throughout our dining experience.We booked a table in the morning and I recommend doing this as you may not get a table by just turning up.Very, very good.
